I saw this movie in the comfort of my bedroom while my husband and his rowdy friends were whooping it up in the living room, watching the Superbowl.
This is an English movie about a Punjabi lesbian living in NYC and her family’s (her mom really) unwillingness to accept her lifestyle, and the struggles she has to go through just because she’s ‘different’. Though the movie was enjoyable, I’m not too sure what the point of the storyline was (after it took the twist that it did). But for anyone out there who is, as they say, an American Born Confused Desi, it’s worth watching.
