Congratulations to Sameer Raj Maskey for gaining admission Carnegie Mellon University with a full fellowship for the Ph.D. program in the Computer Science department. Sameer's research interest is in speech synthesis. He also recently created the first ever Nepali text-to-speech synthesizer. Sameer is currently a Senior at Bates College, ME. He graduated from St. Xavier's, Jawalakhel in 1995. We are all proud of you, Sameer! Ani and friends.

Hey Sameer, Congratulation. I never had any doubt ,though, about your achievement! Prof Hubscher in Auburn always praised you! And Anirudra, If I remember correctly, I met you in New York with Sameer in the millenium ball drop, right?Good to see you here.

Thank you. I am very happy and I feel lucky that I got into one of the top 3 computer science school in the country with full financial aid.

Hi Sameer: Congratulations to you!! I did my undergrad in Pittsburgh--a private college very close to CMU. If you are interested in knowing nepalis and don't know yet(there are very few) let me know.
