I have posted the real picture of Keshar Jung Rayamajhi.
Though I am not his fan, but, when I talked with him for about
10minutes in a public gathering,, I was impressed that his
work in Nepal, especially, in medical field was simply great.
Well, in Nepal, in long run, its difficult to keep yourself
truely professional. Its because of following scenario:
(even for good / honest peoples)
1. You become a prfessional. Work for few years.
2. When you start producing results good, your boss
wants you to do something for him, well, most of the
time like Ghost writers do write things on others behalf.
3. At one time, your work get exposed to others and
world of Nepalis in that particular profession start
to know your work.
4. You will start to be a leader in the profession. Then,
5. you will be asked to be candidate for some union or
association leaders by your close professional friends who
knew you that your position there is essential. You are
OpinionLeader for them. They, also want their candidate
to do something good and productive for them, so that,
they can keep on playing on background. Background
players.
6. If you start working hard and trying to bring something
good for the association / club/ union, then, peoples who
were suffering from bad politics or other non-professional
things, like Saruwa and Badhuwa . . . .stuffs will be
approached to you for help. Because of your position,
you will either be given green signals for your recommendations
if the peoples in the posts are your supporters or have
+ve attitude towards you, or you will be declined. Then,
you will start for answers why you were declined for the
genuine reasons: its all because of your increasing popularity
and being you an OpinionLeader among your groups. So,
you can not just give up. Then, you finally turn out to be
virtual politician if you keep on moving ahead, but, if you
fail, you will be nothing, "kehi garna nasakne". Well, its
the turning point. Ifyou start bargaining your position
with your purperators, then, you will become finally,
as corrupt as Govinda Raj Joshi. Remember Govidna
Raj Joshi was as honest as other professional peoples
in developed country, his cause were genuine until
2036 even until 2046, but, when he became Minister,
how he started to be corrupt, because he could not
bring good to peoples at free of charge, and he started
to bargain and finally, he smelled only money, and his
position, and all HONESTY that he had until before
arrivin to the top position were gone from his dictionary.
You will finally, become another GRJ, but, there are
some peoples like KJR, whom peoples blame of having
money in sending peoples to USSR, but, I found him
quite different, might have changed a lot after he
left his Leftist Wagon. He is still a great personality,
quite better than GRJ.
