I am from Gandaki Anchal. So, I have to know some
prominient peoples in Gandaki Zone, because Pokhara
is the center of Gandaki Zone and now Western Dev. Region
too.
(I am from Pokhara-18 Chhinedanda, Pakhuri ko Bot Muni
ko B. Jaishi ko nati ... that used to be our
identification system until before my GrandFather died.
My personal Name was not so important. With the new migrants
pouring in Pokhara, I guess not very many Pokhareli know us
by the aforementioned indigenous naming style).

Anyone from Arughat, Chhoprak, Makai Bari (?) : I had
a good friend from Makai Bari, Choprak, Arughat when
I used to college student and univ. student.
One more person that I know pesonally is
Surendra Devkota, and I guess he completed
Ph.D. from some univ. in NY. He used to
Ne Bi Sangh ko Neta and was junior of Babu Ram
Bhattarai from same school: Amar Jyoti MB.
(Surendra Devkota was also First boy at
Amar J.MB in his batch).
What about Hari Pandit? I think he is from
Chitwan.

After reading your posting I don't think you are from Pokhara.I thing you are from Gorkha. Could you please tell me which part from Gorkha.I am also from almost one of the place that you wrote in Gorkha.
