News from Kathmandu says that Sher Bdr Deuba and his gang has
finally registered a no trust motion against PM Girija Koirala
inside NC Party office.For us, a deja vu from last year, when
Koirala gleefully staged an unceremonious exit for KP Bhattarai.
KP Bhattarai, a rasik and professed Bharatmukhi politician, cried
in the parliamenet, wrote a letter almost like a humbled
supplicant(remember the letter, aile ke biraayeko chhu ra malaai
nikaalnu paryo etc..)but hey, our gangling and proud Biratnagare
geriatric had no time to heed those passionate call.
Girija assumed air of invincibility, but we knew he was vulnerable
from the start.Nepotism and corruption have been his Achilles heel
and the country saw a lot of downside in his tenure as PM. He
is the single most factor for all the corruption that we saw
after multiparty democracy.
Now, what if the old two persons staged internecine fights inside
the party? What if we start hearing horse trading inside the NC?
What if again DBLama types has been the determinant of our
system and government?
The love between the oldest friends in Nepalese politics sustains
or not, that is matter of speculation.We can see the love is
,however, being requitted amply every year!
