Getting indexed by search engines is not difficult. Just study about META tags, TITLE tags and keyword density from books on search engines or from sites like searchenginewatch.com Ranking high is difficult. If you get inexed by a search engine but cannot show up in the first few pages then it's of no use. Also the more you decorate your page with javascript and graphics the harder for you to rank high. There are numerous other things to think about. Just remember there are other ways to market your site also. I have been working with Internet Marketing for over 2 years now and my exeperience has been that working 'successfully' with search engines is difficult and tedious but not impossible. vj www.momocha.com

Hi Santosh, to get your site to be listed in search engines you have to keep the following in mind: 1. Search keywords - for what keywords do you want the search engines to return your site? 2. Keywords need to be in a. URL, b. Meta Keywords, c. Title of the page, and D. Content of the page for the keyword to be put in any sort of rank by the search engines - different s.engines have diff criteria 3. S. Engines also check how popular your site is ie. by the number of websites that link to your website. Your ranking is partially determined by this. In summary, you should submit to search engines and remember the above and use as little javascript based navigation and dynamic pages which have a question mark in the URL for eg. blah.com/pageid.asp?id=234&sec=664324545345 etc...
