The new chain of killing spree from Maoist sides have created new level of chaos in Nepali Politics. "whats next" is the question everyone has in mind. I guess we have following possibilities in our mind. 1. CPN-UML has to support the Deoba's call for emergency extension. It will be approved. If they don't do, some other option will come and peoples will not trust the liberal "modified" communists, too. (it has no alternative). 2. Extension of emergency is cut your own throat (HARAKIRI) option to Nepali Kangress Party. But, they have no other option, face humliation in the next election. The emergency + the new corrups in Nepali congress will be almost death of Nepali congress party. 3. Number of army will be increased in those troubled areas. Most of them will go on civillian dress and run killing spree, over all suspected Maoists. This is what Maoists wanted, because it will increase hate towards Army in those areas. One is licensed to kill and other has snatched the license to kill. Armed peoples are killing each other. I have no personal sympathy over both. But, Army entered later in the competition and as a tax payer, I support Maoists on my moral ground. 4. Buy more helicopters, and night vision cameras, plus thermo sensors, Use them to track the Maoist movements in night. If think if you can use GIS system (ultra modern), then, you can track movements in night. (whether our political leaders know it). 5. Either Maoists will win the war, and Nepal will be run like Al-queda was running Afganistan / Polpot was running Cambodia, Gyanendra will be accepted by peoples and Paras will be excused if Army gets control over the Maoists. The final credit will either go to Gyanendra or to Maoists. Neither will it benefit NC nor CPN-UML. 6. Well, Nepal was peaceful w.r.t. internal as well as external warfares for a long time. Nepali Army (should) will gradually get experienced and better level of fighting skills with the new war fare materials to classical type of outnumbering the army, and they must be reinforcing their spies. Controlling the border. We need more civilian army than camaflouge, if we are afraid of Maoists.
