I don't think we are getting proper results (of course the poll is not scientific), but if the voting was made a little tedius, multiple votes might be discouraged.

Hi Digital Maniac,
The voting process can be modified a little to make it harder for people to cheat. BUT, the bottom line is that people will always be able to cheat in an online poll. Even if we restricted voting to registered users, people can still vote multiple times by creating different usernames.

Understood. Still....
Check Nepalpoll at Nepalnews.com, I am sure there is a way to cheat there, but I don't think its as previlous as it is here. Making it tough will not stop cheating but it will certainly not be erratic as it is here.
Just my 2 cents.

Just to rub it in: If you leave your door open, theives might be tempted to steal than if you lock your door. Sure a theif could break the lock and still steal, but an open door is almost like asking for it.
San, if you can please do make it tougher to cheat on the polls. Sorry for being demanding, but you know its entirely upto you.

Hi Digital Maniac,
This is definitely something I want to fix up a little when I have some time. Right now as you know i am only using cookies but I am planning to include some other check points in the authentication process.
Stay tuned - but my schedule is pretty tight for the next couple of weeks, but will get to it soon.
