A good place to begin would be to buy a verb book. If you are really interested, I could look up the name of a good one for you. And of course, practice makes perfect. Go to watch all the movies at Alliance Francaise.
But for the time being, your hw will be to learn all the forms of the verb "Avoir" and "etre" :).
la princess Posted on 20-Feb-02 10:42 AM

sunakari,
fine than what's the feminine form of prince? i can speak better than i can write though, if you don't believe me i can let you listen to me talk french like a french native, comme les parisien(sp??):) haha
all those years of french throughout high school and college has all gone down the drain, hey it's not totally my fault what can i do if nobody around me speaks to me in francais.

Sunakari,
Je pense donc je suis! you know who said that don't you?
Apres moi deluge! It's more like apres les "momo" deluge dans les toilette de
nepalese...

Aurevoir,
mon ami

p.s. i don't have the accent keys on my keyboard thus the error in spellings okay sunakari???????

Calme TOI!

"je pense donc je suis"
always wondered what exactly he meant
suis as in etre
or suis as in suivre?
makes quite a difference, non?
nakkali Posted on 25-Feb-02 12:23 PM

le chef du nuit

According to my limited knowledge, I would say it would make a hellava lot of difference.

To those left wondering to the statement - literally translated it would mean (I think heheh) I think therefore I am.
doomsday is nigh Posted on 25-Feb-02 10:31 PM

thule Posted on 25-Feb-02 11:28 PM

un chien = a dog
Les nombres= numbers

sunakhari Posted on 26-Feb-02 10:19 AM

hah! I hear you. My french was also acquired during the dark ages or rather dark times. Never thought I would for a second "boast" of my ability to speak the language (somewhat)

But here it goes:

Je me souviens
