Choice between:
A. Being Able to Fly
B. Be Invisible
I heard this on NPR during the weekend. It would be interesting if you commented on your preference. Please refrain from using foul ligo so that this does not end up in Free-forum.

Being the Devil I am, I would Be Invisible. One can do so many things being invisible:
1. Sneak at what other people doing? How about Jennifer Aniston taking a shower or doing it with Brad Pitt?
2. I could go steal a ton load of money from the bank.
3. Work for KGB or CIA as an agent, how about a double agent?
Well come to think of it, looks like I will get tired of watching celebrity having sex (most of them might not be as beautiful on TV as in bed after they remove their masks), Money would really mean nothing to me, since nobody will see me ride a nice car or wear good clothes. The third option might really be interesting, but again if its too easy, then there might be nothing to it.
Come to think of it again, I am sure scientists would develop some kinds of equipment to detect invislbe presence (they actually do right now), but they might develop something to make them visible.
On my second thoughts, I am gonna fly like a bird. Any takers?

Not to deride or anything, this type of topic doesn't interest me much. My short answer is, "who cares?" Really, who are these jennifer astons or Brad pitts? Call me a pop culture numbskull but who gives a hoot what these so called actors do to each other?
And fly like a bird? why? let the birds fly. let us use the plane, ship, cars, bicycyle and much more. We don't have to do everything that other species do, you know. Fly lke a bird, copulate like a lion (refere to Sangey's posting), Laugh like a hyenna, or look like a swan. what is your take on my take, my dear? By the way the name trench coat mafia conjres up a bad image. Very poor taste if you don't mind my saying so. Please be a bit sensitive.

Well I am the Devil. I am already invsible and sure can fly. I just don't like plain vanilla, that's it.

well I have news for you!!
I am already invisible!!
I see through you guys :) and I see through motives. Now I have YET to see through the clothes of Brad Pitt :) NOW THAT WOULD BE THE DAY!! Maybe those xray vision glasses that we heard about in school (that would make us wear double knickers) would do the trick.
But if I had to really really really choose, I would like to fly. Not for any grand idea of travelling here and there but merely to go back home. I DO NOT FLY and NO...I didn't get here by ship NOR by x-countrying - I used to fly, with age I've developed this weird fear but nothing XANAX cannot over come ;).

Actually, I DO fly like a bird – in my dreams. I’m always dreaming that I’m soaring majestically through the blue skies, free of any worries, responsibilities, stress, everything. *Sigh* what I wouldn’t do to sprout a pair of lily white wings.
Shoot, I really ought to cut back on those mushrooms.

Gee. Being invisible wouldn't be much use without flying. For those who would waste their superpower by observing Jennifer Whoever-she-is in her moments of intimacy, how ya gonna get to her bedroom? Climb up the ivy?
Let's say you've picked a more sensible use for insibility: say, by being a master spy and getting paid zillions by the CIA for your insights into, say, Osama's secret lair. So, do you get to Afghanistan by taking an airplane? That's inconvenient while invisible, since it would be hard to use the movie headphones.
Or do you take an airplane while visible, and THEN turn invisible? After which you do what? Walk around Afghanistan till you find the O-Boy? And how do you eat--steal food, so that it just kind of floats in the air, off the food stands, and then turns invisible ... when? When it hits your mouth, or when it's fully digested? Bleeeechhhh. I could go on but ... naaah, don't wanna go there.

The invisible things is difficult to implement for human
who consumes organic material (food) as source of energy.
There was already a movie on invisible power, and how
he suffers when he consumes food, finally, turn out
to be visible. FYI," invisible " in electronic world is
a illusion, and if you know about infrared technology,
then, you are no more invisible. Because there are many
creatures that can use infrared and sense the liquid
and temerature differences and you are no more
invisible to them. You will be invisible to only white
light. If you want to be invisible you should see the
recent movie AI, that is heart touching movie.
I mean you should first become in-organic, so that you
can get energy by plugging into electric cables,
and you can become really proof of SMELLS
(against DOG detectives, against infrared detetives
and against white light detectives .. ).
So, thats not going to happen unless you are made
of gel like material, that you can switch to any shape
and assemble .... bullets can penetrat, laser beam can
penetrate without burning your body parts ... So,
only god can be invisible. Forget dreaming it.
