Hello! San, I liked your photograph taken in Nepal and its caption. I thought its frome someone else, but, come out to be Sajha.com. Is not that good. Why not we have one Big billboard in Prithvi Highway between KalankiThan and Thankkot. Or, bhitta ma lekhne (by paying appropriate money to the owner of the house wall / bill board). If you need donation, I am ready to offer US $10 equivalent Nepali rupees (for this purpose in annual basis, as long as I am in Japan). Hahoo!Guru

While San and our Sajha.com heavy wt. champion Ashu in Nepal, the Sajha.com forum can be strengthened by starting on non-governmental organization (to make it more systematic to make Ashu's dream of having official SPY photographer for Sajha.com). I mean we can set up one "e-Nepal Sajha Society" and collect revenue through membership and donations, make its accounting and other things transparent by employing some part time (initially) office bearers. As it expands, we can bring more programs to make peoples hook to Sajha.com. In future, like City Libraries in USA, Sajha.com can offer peoples discounted internet connection to its members in Nepal. I had seen one Internet & e-mail shop in Thahiti that has only one computer, 6 keyboard-n-screen and one line of telephone, and it offers just 20rupees for internet use per hour. The download speed was not very bad. It was pretty fast. So, I mean we can ask others for sponser, like beer-churot-raksi (well, these are the peoples who easily offer sponsership, and as long as you have "beer-churot-raksi seban sarir ko lagi hanikarak chha" banner, I don't mind the sponsorship). We will need someone in this "e-Nepal Sajha Society" who can dedicate his important time of his life to make it a sustainable, just the way San is doing here in Cyber-space. What I am afraid is that once it has some office set-up, (like chair and table with office room having clerks), then, some idiots will try to capture for their personal benefit, this is the trend in Nepal. This is my experience and San will be continously flamed by these groups to hand over the Sajha.com's all program and leave the ... finally, some idiot will become our Sajha.com 's web master. Its the worst, but, most probably scenario if we make Sajha.com more public. If we move things more cautiously and more democratically, it will surely be a better move. So I have some more things to make it realy workable plan: 1. The voting system (as we had seen the one IP address one vote is the useless idea when some members are too irresponsible, as we had seen here, or in Kantipuronline) needs to be refined. It can be refined only if we register new members via at least two verifiable recommendations. As this proposal was already mentioned sometime back. 2. Democratic: It should be fully based electing officers by voting. Well, except the programmer and web-site master, as long as San does not leave us. 3. Transparent accounting. 4. Distribution of edited version of best topics and discussions via email for those who do not have access to internet, but, periodic email check ups. 5. Request Ashu to get once a month workshop at Martin Chautari organized on behalf of "e-Nepal Sajha Society" and Milan samaroh for Nepal based "e-Nepal Sajha Society" members. 6. Summarization of news papers in Nepal. Weekly based. You can ask Nepal based readers to briefly write which newspaper said what ... (well, MOS ' nepalnews.com already offer main sections of top level newspapers. But, some of might be missing inside pages. 7. Ashu's dream of running SPY photography section. I am still ready to offer my $100 earning to buy digital camera. Lets think it. Hahoo!Guru

Hi HaaHoo Guru, Thanks for your excellent ideas. I met San for about 20 minutes at my office in Kathmandu late yesterday (Thursday) afternoon, and we talked about -- what else but -- sajha.com. We bounced off a few ideas, and decided to have a gathering of sajha people in Kathmandu soon. San has other excellent ideas for this site, which, I am sure, he'll be sharing with us all here when appropriate times come. Rest assured that San seems to want to make this site a lot more vibrant, and of more interest to members of the global Nepali communities. One challenge is to how to tap the still unrealized potential of this site in ways that serve us Nepalis all the more. To that end, my role is to help in any way I can . . . and that, time-permitting, I am always happy to do. That said, those of us who remember the early days of gbnc.org continue to be amazed/astounded and even positively shocked by the site's evolution to better and better avatars and its continous organic growth. oohi ashu ktm, nepal

Man you must own the domain for hahoo ? Just because your registered name is hahoo does not mean we have to use yo phrase. bug off preacher. And why are we ripping off Yahoo style logo ? Only Dhoti's do that. Hahoo guru can't you be a bit orignal than riping off someone else's Logo. Its like plagiarism. thief
