Does anyone know of any discount travel agency that deals with Thai Airways and Singapore airways? Does anybody have a general idea how much it usually cost to go to Nepal on these airlines in the months of either May or June? Thanks MCR

hey bud, There are 2 ways in purchasing a ticket. 1. Low fare 2. Hours of flight and transit time. If u are thinkin of money then its better to go to priceline.com. At one time my fren got the ticket for $750 to Nepal. So, I suggest u to try Priceline.

Once I did shopping around and tried priceline.com and lowfair.com. Usually there price is low compare to others but their routes are very unusual one. For example if I wanted to fly from St. Louis, they fly me to Minneapolis- Vancouver wait for 5 hours or something like that then to San Francisco. It will take me almost two days to get to SanFran from St. Louis. Then from there I have to take China Airlines to Taiwan, then to Bangkok then finally Kathmandu. You get $100 cheap but will waste your time more and more hassles. If you don't mind all those try with them. I didn't like it. After shopping with about 6 or 7 different Travel Agents, I got best deal from Dhukuti Travel. This was last summer. I don't know about now. FYI There's no more Singapor Airlines flight to Nepal.

More Choice is Always Better, Do your homework and talk to few agents and chose the one you like. Personally, I feel going through this online cheap travel ticketes a waste of your time to look through it and during travel as someone said earlier, because the technology is 'still not there yet'. Best is use the travel agenecies and they will work for you to get the cheap tickets. One phone call will make them work for you. At this moment they don't have much work to do anyway so, they will be happy to serve you better. Until end of June you should get the tickets within $1300 (find yourself lucky) after that all summer it will be more than $1400. Few of my favorite travel agencies are: http://www.thirdeyetravel.com http://www.himalayantrekking.com Good luck and let us give the business to a Nepali.
