Pushkar Shah, a Nepali peace crusader, who has been cycling around the world spreading world peace and love. Shah, who is recognised around the world as one of the leading peace crusaders by virtue of his personal mission to ride around every country in the world, is an anticipated visitor to most countries.
On November 28, 1998 he started a journey to capture his dream, the dream of riding 390,000 kilometre around the world on his bicycle to spread the message of peace and hopes for his country and the world. The Nepalese missionary of peace hopes to spread his message through media, his meetings with public officials, and through public speaking engagements.
Unlike many who aim to set records by going around the world in shortest span of time, Pushkar decides to take his time cycling around the world and spreading his message of peace. His journey is to last 11 years. Having been on the road for three years, he has eight more to go.
Many call him a brave courageous man, and a missionary of peace around the world. But there are people who think, quote, " You are crazy man. You need to get a life." as posted in his official page by one of the site visitors.
