I do not see any future for Spanish language in Nepal, at least not for another five years except for watching world cup soccer 2002 from spanish channel.

Hi Carlos,

Spanish is taught and is very popular at Nepal's state-run language school, Biswo
Bhasa Campus on Exhibition Road.

Says a friend who's taking Spanish there, the Spanish instructor there has
just completed translating "Muna Madan" into Spanish.

That said, any future of Spanish in Nepal has to do with that language's
immediate applicability to, I suppose, Nepal's tourism industry.

So, more and more tourists from Spanish-speaking countries = more demand by Nepali tour operators for Spanish speaking employees, hence more demand for Spanish language classes.

So, how can Nepal attract more Spanish-speaking tourists?

Many Spanish men and women, I have noticed, LOOK just like Nepali men and women.
