Hi all Like to hear the comments on these two same stories 1. From BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/world/south_asia/newsid_1855000/1855655.stm 2.From Times of India http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow.asp?art_id=2810065&sType=1 Well I just wanted to note you all that Indian Media hesitate to say the Tenzing Norgay is Nepali, instead they say indirectly Darjelling as home town ,which is also not fully incorrect...

Rai, Tenzing Norgay has a house in darjeeling and plenty of things dedicated to him in Darjeeling. He was a regular sight on the streets of Darjeeling too. The Himalayan Mountaineering Association is dedicated to him. He was a sherpa living in Darjeeling. That was his home town.
