40 days and 40 nights is a sexsoaked comedy about a guy who thinks he can solve all his problems with girls by giving up any and all sexual activity for Lent. What starts as a private vow of chastity soon turns into a global Internet betting pool, as people wager on when -never whether or not- Josh(the hero) will fall from grace. To make the betting more interesting, just as he decides he can do without female companionship, he not only meets the girl of his dreams, but starts running into the ex-girlfriend who started him on his quest.
"40 days and 40 nights" is rated R and is not for most teenegers or overly prudish adults. Its's far more graphic than, say "American Pie," but far funnier too. It is brash, bawdy and very adult comedy.
Anyone looking for that sort of entertainment should not deny themselves the pleasure of seeing "40 days and 40 nights."
