NC is going for the constitutional ammendment and reduce the number of MPs to 155. Another great move is to limit the number of ministers to 10 percent of the total number of MPs. These are really a great move as this will help to reduce the financial burden as well as the number of corrupts. However, the fight for minister and MP ticket will be worth watching.

Since UML is the one who initiated the constitutional ammendment, there should be no problem in this process.

The constitution of Nepal clearly says that two third of the lower house can ammend the constitution except some basic clauses. Still some people from NC are saying that they need the permission from the king. Ironically, Kamal thapa from RPP said that there is no need for the permission from the king and two third can definitely ammend the constitution. Isn't it surprising and shocking that people from NC want to involve the king in the constitutional ammendment even when RPP is against it. It would have been understandable if it was other way round.
