Is it possible anymore to just look at the posted materials and decide for ourselves without all the blabbing heads that precede and follow? The answer is no There are SAJHA's pundits (there are always pundits) to talk about what he or she had to say and there were political bean counters to talk about how NEPAL could change. We all know what's happening in Nepal but we don't need some $%#&ed up "so called" nepalese who is in US or other countries to talk about how Nepal aint doing good and how their crappy philosophy's gonna change the whole big picture. If u guys were so interested in nepal and nepalese people you guys would not have been talkin right now but doing something here in Nepal. So, guys dont show your fake patriotism...sounds really weird for the people in nepal. Well, is it possible for a reader to make his case without having to sit down with a pundits who has pumped and promoted the materials to ad nauseum? You know the answer to that one too. Anyone with a pulse knows this method can't be used in one-on-one discussions between couples over someone's infidelity. That is when all the cards have to be laid on the table -- well, most of the cards -- and the tears have to flow and forgiveness along with a second or third or tenth chance has to be requested. The nice thing about this is, we don't require a pundit to tell us what was said. The bad thing about this is, the pundits tell us anyway. So, are u guys for real???

Dear From Nepal ji I don't understand why you are awaken until this late night hours to write all these things about people living in the US and talking about Nepal and Nepali people (unless you are in some part of US yourself). Please relax my friend. The physical boundary of the country does not automatically demarkate the patriotic and non-patriotic heart. If that does many Indians are also Nepali patriots because they are living and workign inside Nepal. Suppose, you came from Syangja and now living in Kathmandu for 10 years. Do you shut your mouth up or talk about when you hear 5 Syangjalis were killed in bus accident near Waling? How will you see if some one Ramprasad from your village says you are no more of that village spirit, you are Kathmanduitees.... As one leaves one's village, people leave the coutnry for the similar reasos, if talking in broade horizon. Living in another country and talking about Nepal's development, you said doesn't match with your definition of patriotism. I say, hell, this matches; however there could be some exceptions.. In first place why a person leaves country? In search for better job, higher education or in some cases, someone is lured of the facilities of the developed countries. Most of these people might have very good intention to come to foreign land sacrificing many things in their homeland. Isn't a worker in Arab allowed to talk about Nepal? Why can't a student who comes to do a MS or Ph.D. talk about Nepal? Why can't a person living in the US working hard to earn money for his family back home not a patriot and be ripped of his right to talk about own country? It is not good to label anyone patriotic or nopatriotic based only on the physical locations of the persons. Sometimes generalizations are too poor to depict any reality and it hardly justifies one's thinking. Feel free to agree or disagree to me.. Gandhi Auburn, Alabama

hey guys, The thing "from nepal" is sayin' aint wrong though. We do make different assumptions and talk about things we should do in nepal while we dont have a slight idea. Anyways people do talk shit about Nepal while they used to be the exact same people like the one who is residing over there now. Nepalese = "Vhedas" or lambs. If one says or does something everyone goes for it without even knowing anything. By the way Gandhi, I think you are not going back to Nepal.. are you? So, stop that shit about being sensitive about Nepal rather you'll be thinkin about makin' money and living your comfy life here in US. Nepalese people just use words they don't do anything. Their statements makes you feel like they are going to change the whole world but when it comes to do something its NULL. I'm not saying i'm different...i'm in the same boat as u guys are... i always talk about how nepal is corrupted and yadi yadi ya... but the truth is its all in our words.. there's no action performed. What do u guys think?

Ladies and gentlemen, For our amusement, let us note that "from nepal" and the person who "agreed" with him/her share the same ID: 54100086. Perhaps the best discussion one can have is with oneself. oohi ashu

Thanks Agreedji: Some people have been playing this game of writing with different names to reinforce the idea as if some other people do also think that way. Thanks to the IP address system applied in this site, such acts can be noticed... Okay, I take your advice not to talk about Nepal. I am gonna shut my mouth and keep my hands writing about Nepal. How is it going to help Nepal in anyway? Going back to Nepal or living in US has different perspectives for different people. So my perspective will be based on my own circumstances. If we were friends, I would tell you what I am gonna ... not in public. By the way, to help Nepal from abroad, one needs to talk about her. Without talking about the girls being trafficked to India, without talking about many peole having HIV/AIDS, without talking about people suffering from moists insurgency and without talking about children with no books and pens, how can one find ways to help them? We make our huge deficit budget and hope to balance it with a foreign loan and grant almost 10% of our GDP. We don't have shame in accepting it and let the foreigners talk about our poverty and the suffering. When a Nepali, temporarily out of country, talks about this with fellow friends, peole find it hard to bear, huh? It is very difficult to explain over this forum about who has done what for the development of the country though at micro level without being acused of trying to advertise to sell own CV. Sso I am just putting from writing these things to justify my points. I know how hard it is to change the behavior of people. So, I don't mind reaching someone's mind many times before he or she realizes what is good for himself/herself and the community. Gandhi Auburn, Alabama

Ya'll need to grow up. I know this person was acting weird replying his or her own message but its true though. We "nepalese" tends to write all the bull shit about the current affairs while we have no clue about it. And by the way "FROM NEPAL" we do care about our country. We do want to see our country taking a good step for the future. Our coming to US doesn't mean we forgot our country and its people. Oppertunity bended our path. But, We will and always love our country no matter what.
