Hi all,
It now seems certain that we will have first amendment to our constitution. I would like to float some of the issues worth considering as new provisions in the constituion.
1. term limit for prime minister and party chiefs
2. minimum educational qualification for MPs
3. a provision to bar a corrupt person (as defined by law) to be a candidate for MP.
4. requirement to file a tax and property clearance certificate for candidates of MP.
5. Provision to ensure transparancy in political parties finanacial matters.
