Having gotten bachelor degrees from a US based college, Khagu dai wondered how he would be able to use his recently gained expertise into vocation so that he could feel a sense of achievement for the four hard years that he put into college, and presumably, the first thing that came to his mind was to find a challenging yet simple job where he could use his experience into the real-world. Much to his consternation, the slowdown in the US economy and the oust of the dot commers precluded him from finding a 'challenging yet simple' job that he so much was hankering after, and immediately, he conformed to his second plan, which would be to go to a graduate school so that he could tell his parents that he is still doing something of avail which would, perhaps, also be a great assurance to his parents when they, back home, can tell their neighbors that their son is indeed in the verge of being a Ph.D. Without tinkering much with his pea-sized brain, he took the Greyhound to embark to a totally new place, to see new people, and to make new friends, and left behind him the raucous fraternity parties, the binge-shots, and the seductive girls. Khagu dai remembers the day when he came to the hinterland, how much surprised he was in seeing those skyscrappers in the big cities. Without much thought, he was equating his small house on the banks of Kalikot with that of the huge building, where he was nakedly seeing the unbalance, just like when you see the pole falling off the cartpole balancer when there is no additional friction ( or say any force) to overcome the input force. Perhaps, khagu dai was pondering on how these 'different' people were making something so huge that he had never imagined even in his dreams. Perhaps, khagu dai was designing a Proportial-Derivative-Integrator controller just like you would do when you try to put the cartpole in equilibrium, so that he could equate his remedial equations of houses when he slowly whispered to himself, " I am here to learn, and I will learn more than what you teach me, 'different' people."
