"Mc Carther" when he was returning to USA in 2nd world war time,
he told "I will be back!". Japanese could not understand
its meaning, but, Filipinos were excitingly waiting for his
return and MC returned. Similarly, HahooGuru will be
back to Sajha.com. Well, HahooGuru was very much delihted
to many Sajha.members who fought against those guys
who wanted 15 minute fame as Ashu wrote. These days, HG is
busy with other jobs, for some more time, and he can not actively
write here, but, he will be reading all the postings from
reknowned writers in this forum and also from emerging stars. Well,
HG went to KOL discussion forum, and liked very much, its a moderated
forum and thats for only civilzed peoples, while Sajha.com
members have to struggle very much to make this forum
worth for majority of peoples. Well, Ashu might say that
15minute fame people will go in due time, but, Ashu was
a main poster in those good old days in SCN, may I ask
Ashu, if your believe is true, then, SCN is more open and
accessible, but, why did you abandon it and joined comparatively
small community at Sajha.com ? The reason, if I understand
t o some extent is that you could not get your readers and fellow writers
onlilne reading your few postings out of garbage pile in SCN and you needed a
protected small community. Thats why your idea is too idealistic, does
not work in real world where good and evils live together.

Therefore, bad peoples / evils of society should be
put in jail or appropraitely punished, well, you can not raise your
trigger just by looking at someone e.g. some strange names, but,
if someone threatens society, then, we have police officers in
real world who use their trigger to put the bad guy down, similarly,
we need our Sajha.com to have good police officers and let them
monitor, and Sajha.com offers freedom only to those who
reject ideas not persons, and do not throw mud towards fellow
Sajha.com visitors. We need to defend to good peoples in society, not the
loosers. I was missing this part in your usual defense on Freedom
issues. You need to correct yourself, before it becomes late.
Well, you might write mountain to validate here starting your
usual phrase when you get angry with someone, "LOOK HahooGuru!",
it will not hold water. We know each other very well, and I am requesting
you to defend better peoples and punish bad peoples, not the vice
versa.

Do you support the Government's decision to hand over management of Nepalese commercial banks to foreign consultant firms? Name: Hahoo!Guru
Email: guru@hahoo.biz
View: Lets see how top level officers/executives at Public / Private Bank Funnel money to their personal pocket.
1. The Bank closed at 5pm on Friday. Some Biz. peoples, especially, Indian Biz. community (they can keep confidentiality), come to Bank, pick up millions of rupees from Banks like Rastriya Banijya Bank Bishal Bazar Sakha's SAFE. Then, they buy some dollars in black market, and some they pay to HUNDI wallas in HongKong and Bangkok (from money transferred from overstay workers in Japan). After this they make sure they have enough money to buy things in HongKong or Bangkok, then, leave Nepal. On Saturday, they collect dollars in HK and BKK, do all shopping and return to Nepal Sunday flight. In the evening of Sunday, they, pass their goods (imported goods ) to dealers and retailers and collect money. On Monday early morning, they return the money back to SAFE of the RBB Bishal Bazar Shakha, as if there was no transfer. Who lost RBB share holder, who got profit? The Manager and khajanchi at RBB and their Boss. How much? Every week, 52weeks a year, and its going on for so many years. So, go and check the Bishal Bazar Managers and their house, you will realize whether they were real big. biz. peoples or just a collapsing Bank's mangers? Then, you tell me back that whether I am right or wrong? Go and check. This is the way how money is used in back door lending biz.

2. Private Banks: You need loan. You need to put some ACHAL sampati in Bank as Dharouti, and it should be valuated by some consultants, and who are those consultants? A few reselected by Banks? Who owns these consulting companies? The relatives of Bank owners, if you do not believe go and check all major private banks. The valuation fee, i.e. commission, is at least 2.5percentages. Its a kind of GHUSS. You believe it or not.

Dear Hahoo Guru,

As a sajha.com visitor who is also your fan, I am so happy that you have
chosen to come back. It's really great to have you back.

Re: freedom of speech, let's just say that I am at peace with these
conclusions about sajha.com

a) For ownership purposes, this is San's site for all of us to enjoy. We are free to leave any time we want. All our postings are voluntary, and we supply them at
our own risk. That said, we should be mindful that we may well encounter stuff here that's injurious to our self-esteem, to our sense of self and so on.

b) As the disclaimer says, San [sajha.com] RESERVES the right to pick and choose postings he does not like for whatever reasons.

c) To his credit, San has this well-demonstrated habit of listening to and quickly responding to visitors' concerns and comments, and, as a visitore, I trust that he will continue to weigh others' opinions too before making his decisions re: the removal of certain postings.

d) Arguments that I have been making for freedom of speech are powerful ones. But even though San has not said this outright, I would think that arguments for how one should maintain one's "private property" are even more powerful, at
least to me, and I am willing to concede my freedom of speech arguments in
favor of "private property" arguments.

e) Had this been GBNC ko site -- owned and paid for by GBNC -- then the FOS arguments would have been stronger, at least in my mind.

f) KOL, for example, is a privately owned site for others to enjoy.

g) This said, sajha.com is what it is because of posters like you, me and hundred others. Let's slowly and surely take it to greater heights -- in weeks, months and years to come.

Here's a toast to your return, Haahoo-ji.

I love this site. This is probably the best Nepali web site I ever known. For making this site so nice, I am very very grateful to San and posters who actively participate in kurakani forum.

I always frequent this site by the url . Just like it's url suggest, I thought this site is owned and operated by gbnc thus it has appropiately 'org' extension. And San is it's volunteer webmaster. But, now these days from Ashu's posting, I come to know this site is private provperty and is owned by San. Knowing this , I am confused. So please help me sort my confusions.

Why this site is accessed by www.gbnc.org if this site is not the property of gbnc. Especially that 'org' extension. This is misleading.

I don't know but I haven't seen privately owned company seeking contribution from it's visitors. In my knowledge, only organizations which is not owned by anybody collect contributions as such such as NPR, redcross and so on. (BTW, I haven't made any contributions to this site, so I am not sure whether I have right to raise this question or not)

When anybody reads from KOL or any other privately owned media, we all know they are there for the profit eve though those media are providing open forum for the society. If this site is such, I wish and pray for this site every success but this site shouldn't mislead it's visitors by being assessible by 'org' extension.

Hahooguru,
Your observations about ashu's failure to understand that democracy has to find ways to deal with bad guys is interesting. His inability to accept the freedom of speech with accountability, which the site admin here seems to want to do, is ridiculous. The analogy that comes to mind is that if you are organizing a public gathering for discussing issues, you have to make sure your speakers are protected against malicious audience who will start to throw stones at some users because of their personal problems. If the organizer cannot provide some sort of 'protection' to its speakers, the how can this kind of public gatherings sustain??

This forum is some sort of public gathering, where people voice their ideas and opinions. Without the checks to prevent malicious people from throwing stones at the speakers of this forum, this forum would eventually die out.

My two dollars

and ashu, please don't bother replying with the same freedom of speech arguments.. it's getting a little redundant
