When I was discussing with a fellow about Nepali politics and our Nepali KAMRADEs, especially, Dinesh Sharma 's wife caught by police and it was reported in KOL that she is also a very powerful leader within Maoists, then, I was surprised to find our KAMRADES get challenging wives, I mean both Husband and wife are Kamrades. That surprised me, what would happen to their kids? Double KAMRADE, is not it? Or, the rule of to many color is no color, (i.e. =black), similarly, the KAMRADES' kids might turn out to be non-Kamrade? But, the culture in Nepal is quite different from other countries where you become Kangress or communist, not because you read their policities or principals, but, you follow these tracks because someone in your family has close ties with these political aligns. So, the fellow who was watchig my surprise, answered my question that in Nepali Left Politics, you have no freedom to marry any girls you like, but, the party has to decide it? At least, you can not have marriage with a girl or boy who is not in the same boat of politics. He gave many examples of such political marriages . . . . . That made me very much fun, and disappointments. I feel that our communists world of Nepalis is something like Hitlers 20,000male female, where Hitler wanted to create a pure community. Our Nepali communists also want to make pure communist home ... . ... Thats great is not it, if you are under the red flag, but, if are away from the red flag, its a disappointment? Agree and disagreements are welcome. Your XP Hahoo!Guru

First of all, welcome back Hahoo Guruji. Sajha.com really felt some void without your presence. Now the topic. Its quite interesting, however it goes for all the parties. Getting out of your family's political affiliation is another rebellious act in itself just like marrying a different caste. Communists however; however seem to be more liberal on the caste issue. A lot of the Central leaders seem to have married girls of different castes according to where they were settled. It is true that the marriage also seem to be some sort of arrangement within the party as well. According to what I have heard, when Baburam was in the hospital (for some injury or illness) in India during their college years, Hisila was asked to look after him, and from their the relationship started. It is quite interesting that their daughter took the name as Firstname Bhattarai Yami. Jhalanath Khanal and Mrs Chitrakar are married and have named their son Firstname Chitrakar. Sorry for getting off the topic but I find these things quite interesting as well.
