Dear friends:
I received an email from this person who has won a DV Lottery in Nepal and has an interview next month. He needs a sponsor from someone already in US with a GC or citizenship for atleast three years.
He does not have anyone in the US to provide him with this support due to which he will be deprived from getting his GC.
Since I myself do not know anyone, so I am posting this message with a high hope that someone will come up to help this unfortunate person.
I strongly hope for someone to come up to help our fellow citizen.

When did he win the DV lottery. As far as I know, the results for this year are not yet out (scheduled to be announced sometime in May/June). If he recd it last year, then his DV would already have expired by now (assuming he hasn't acted upon it)...because it is valid only for the first few months after your notification date. Just from what I know.

He won the Lottery for last year i.e. 2002 .The visa for last year will be issued until the september of this year. similarly for this year it will be issued until sep. 2003,
