Message to rebels
Nepal Jagaran, 18 March
An appeal from the security forces Maoist workers who are ready to die! Please know the following about your leaders!!
- The children of the commanders you have so much faith in enjoy luxurious and secure lives abroad with the funds you struggle to collect.
- Your commanders have managed to set up huge bank balances abroad for a secure future with the unaccounted money you collect from various sources.
- When your commanders told you the arms dealers had cheated them of huge sums of money, they were in fact funnelling it away to their own bank accounts.
- Your local commanders have already built houses in Kathmandu and other cities in the country. Their families live in the security of cities, not in dangerous villages.
- Your commanders have been treating women workers as commodities to be enjoyed. Some of them have been compelled to commit suicide after they became pregnant.
- You simple citizens may have low incomes, and you are being lured to your death with dreams of unattainable luxuries only to forward the personal interests of your commanders.
- Instead of providing treatment to wounded workers, your commanders bury the alleged ‘martyrs’ alive.
- Your right to observe your religion and culture has been curtailed, your religious freedom has been blunted.
To surrender
- Hang your weapon on your left shoulder with the barrel pointing downward.
- Remove the magazine from your weapon.
- Raise both hands up when approaching the security forces.
- The person in front should hold this pamphlet on his right hand.
- Come in groups of less than five persons.
- The security forces will welcome you and provide you hot food. They guarantee you will live.

It's not true,we steal from the goverment and the corrupt people and then give it to our comrades and to their family who fight for our cause,look we have a government of our own to run and we have no other source of revenues.Let us fight this war and help progress our country.

hey you so called maoist,
how can you justify your killings of an innocent civilians and poor villagers for whom supposely you are fighting for?you are killing policemen and soldiers and almost all of them come from small village like yours leaving thier wives,their children, and their old parents behind them. they are the only one who are providing two meals for the day to their families and you are snatching those poor people's bread from their mouth by killing their only support and you call that a "people's war"? how pathetic you are. you are no less than all the othercorrupt politicians. The world will be so much better place if all the politicians in the world will die. I have some questions for you and hope you are inteligent enough to answer them.
1. How do you think you can develope a country by keeping the people of the country illiterate?
2. even if you come to power, how do you think you can bring the money we need to develope the country?( you know that we don't have enough money in our country to start a big budget project such as hydro powerplant and you're not gonna get any aid from other countries)
3.where are you trying to take Nepal's already poor economy? ( thanks to your contribution, Nepal's most promising way to bring $, tourism business, is dead)
I have many more questions to ask but this is it for now. finally, I like what Mao did what he did. that's what they needed at that time because the world was not the same as it is. In this time of global economy, do you honestly think that you can uplift Nepal by doing what you are doing? I personally hate capatilism and I hate to see poor staying poor and rich getting richer. I hate when I see a child has to beg for some food or when a child has to dig down in a dumpster for some food. I hate people who has enough money to spend on alchohol, fancy cloths, and fancy cars, but don't have enough money to feed the poor. that's why I hate myself because I myself don't follow everything that i think is right and I definitely hate you.
