Breaking News: Lower House Dissolved (KOL, 4/1 2002) The Nepal TV and th Radio Nepal announed early morning that Royal Nepal Army has taken full control of HMG Nepal and Singha Durbar. In Nepal TV in parallel to Radio Nepal, Chief of Staff Prajwol Samsher J.B.R. had given a 5 minute long speech asking peoples to remain calm and he also announced that all rights of peoples are ceased until another announcement comes and all political parties are banned. It was also announced that the Lower House and Upper House are dissolved. ------------------ My Comment, can someone confirm this news.

I just heard on the BBC WorldNews that, the army has taken over some key buildings in Kathmandu, including SinghaDarbar, Royal Palace, and the Supreme court building. I have not seen this either on Nepalnews.com or Kantipuronline.com!
