hi all,
everybody seems so disappointed by the poilitical instability in Nepal, it's understandable why people have so much negativity towards the democratic establishment. But this was to happen in one point of Nepal's modern history, had it not been 12 years ago then it would had been few years later or would had been at a time when we ourself would have started demanding freedom, see the panchyat system no matter how much we now have come to favor against the now ruling government was indeed corrupt and we cant hide the fact and then apprecaite it for it's peaceful setting. Most of us here I can say for sure do not have the slightest idea about how it is to live a life under proverty, and the resaon why people started rebelling against the one party system of nepal was due to the very fact that most of those poor nepalese felt that to support a cause that would benefit them was thier priority and so did the voices begin to raise and finally we achieved democracy. What has happened after that, it has not worked out accordingly as much to our expectation. There are tons of reason why democracy has failed till todays situation and why has it become even worse. The only reason i can find is that we lack of intellectual minds of those political leaders who preach more about violence rather then voicing for patience and the goodwill of it;s own people. Demaocracy is fine, a good thing, and will be even better once we have mindful people up there to take care of the situation in a more civilized manner. As from the many discussion we get to listen and read from various sources i see hope in the coming future, nepalese in todays generation has developed a huge sense of responsibilty towards national unity it;s interest not just for a part of a region but for the whole country itself.just give it a few more years and we shall definately see some changes.Looking back at things is not at all a bright idea, moving on is what brings about changes.
Thanks.
