The whole concept was flawed to begin with. Which self respecting nepali girl will consider being framed as 'single and looking' for going to a so called 'single's night out'? It might sound like a great idea for an american community or some other foreign community, but for a Nepali community, this kind of singles night out is a big joke as it seems to have turned out. GBNC needs to think out of their 'sort of americanized' mindsets and try to cater to the needs of the Nepalese community out there. Instead of postponing the NY party to May 12 because of venue issue, why couldn't we have had a small picnic at some FREE grounds. This gesture would have been very welcomed by the community because the community wants to celebrate the New years on the NEW YEARS day. I mean all GBNC had to do was to make an announcement to gather in some FREE park, and provide some chips and drinks. I mean, c'mon guys, it's time for you guys to think out of the box, and try to figure out how to bring the community together.
