I'm planning to go back to nepal this summer and i have to apply for a returning student visa. I was rejected for a U.S visa in canada once but i have never been out of status and i have a good G.P.A. Do you guys think that could be a problem for me. I would appreciate your suggestion . if anyone have been in this situation before, please let me know. thank you

Do you have financial aid covering most of your expenses, or are you paying out of your/your family's pocket? If your school is paying, and you have a good GPA, then ou probably won't have difficulties. Note that the US embassy in Canada no longer issues visas to third-country citizens. How along ago did you try there?

Take your all grade reports. If you're full time students every semester, you won't have any problem. I went home several times during my college year never problem. rk
