well I am not sure what "bhoti" is.. or could it be moti??... as in pearl. But I think the translations goes like this
while river doesn't have water
that river has got "bhoti"...
Real husband gets stale corn
but the "nathe" gets bread.
Now it doesn't make sense at all. damn... those are some interesting terms eh?.. ain't nathe is person wid extra marital affiar??I don't think it sould be translated literally. How about this...
River without water
but has got Pearls
Lover ends up gettin' some shitty stale corn
but the her f*@# buddy gets bread.

My suggestion.. don't even bother translating this in English, it ruins the whole typical and rural flavour of village... Peace

It might literally mean this:
The river without water has " Bhoti", a kind of fish( Bhote Machha they call it, it's delicious), allegorically telling us that even without water fish can manage to survive to play its role in nature.your own beloved husband doesn't get makai, maize;the least desired food for somone, but someone Nathe( Unfaithful and cheating one,of playful nature) gets to eat the roti.I think, the poem is trying to tell that undeserving characters get to have the best...antagonistically and ironically sad facet of the reality.
I have tried to translate this. Guys tell me how is it:
A river without water nurtures a fish
beloved him has nothing to eat,
This cheating man eats the best dish...

My attempt goes like this:
those guys who are capable,
they do not hold chair
when they get chair,
they get exploited from back door.
if you want to have good life,
learn some tricks to fish.
