Who is to blame? Is it our education system in Nepal? Is it the society and its expectations?

Yes, education system where there is a hangman's noose hanging above your neck all the time concerning this big freaking exam and stupidity of young minds. I know because I have been there. Four of us made a pact. If the exam does not go well, we will commit suicide. The exam indeed did not go well. This friend goes and buys 30 sleeping pills and swallows 26 of them. Another friend goes and drinks kerosene, the third does not do anything except wallow in grief, and I do nothing. Well, to tell you the truth, the 'pasale' refused to give me the desired pills. I did not have any back up plan and also deep inside I was not serious when we made the pact and thought nobody would do such a stupid thing - I mean kill yourself over an exam! Well, the sleeping pill friend was rescued by her mother when the mother heard a low moan in the middle of the night. She lost 20 pounds and never got those pounds back. Nobody died but that is not the point. I don't know how many of us have tried or thought of trying. These poor girls succeded. Grade seven!
