I read BP Koirala's Narendra Dai last summer and I must say it was a very intresting book. Throughout the book BP makes the readers feel that Narendra dai is the "bad guy" with a serious character flaw. And his love affair, a tharu woman from a village(forgot her name), a home wrecker.

He makes readers feel sympathy for Narendra dai's wife. however, towards the end, all this changes. he presents these three charcters in such a way that u can't really point to one and say it was his/her fault. he sort of makes u feel that it wasn't anybody's fault for the things that happend but it was actually the circumstance that lead to all this. it leaves readers wondering if there is such thing as free will or are we really creatures of cirsumstance. at least thats how i felt.

i was wondering how you people out there felt about the book. those of you who have read the book, it would intresting to hear ur take on it. please do drop few lines.
