Any one of have tried to look deeply inside hiduism through the eyes of wisdom and being as a person who have different beliefes and values. I have tried to make this message board to talk about the reigion. Any kind of religion that you are interested in our you hate. you can make any kind of judgment. You can talk from the ancient to present time. further more when we will start working on it we wil have further more points to talk about for now we will talk about a question. Are you satisfied with the religon that you are following? Later on as the topic goes generalis for we can talk about much more. Try answering this first question. The ideas will come up to disscuss. Have great time

Talking about religion, I have recently become a Christian. I have my own personal experience in coming to know Jesus Christ. I truely believe what Jesus Christ did to all of humanity that He died on the cross for our sins and rose again. I have joy and peace in Christ Jesus. I have inner peace in knowing how much Jesus loves all of us. Christianity is not really a religion, but it's a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I have decided to give my life for Jesus. I am not doing this to please Jesus but out of love for what He did to me. My sole purpose in life is to serve the Lord. It's hard to see what I am trying to say. And it's understandable as I was even worse before I came to know God. I was a Spiritually blind man all these years. Anyways I just wanted to tell about my FAITH and my contentment in it. Jesus Loves You All

Do not say how much Jesus loves you; rather say how much he loved other people who were in his era. Don't you know that he is no longer living? One thing about religion; religion is not a god's message to us, in fact no god(s) exist(s). Religion was built by we people to simplify the way of living. People have always been confused about who they are. The biggest mystery has been human mind. Even in the scientific age, when we have discovered a lot about life and nature, people are consciously and unconsciously troubled by the thoughts of their existence. Imagine how people might have suffered in the past, when they knew nothing about the nature and the living beings. They were so confused that they concluded somebody very powerful is operating the world from the sky. By believing on this, they were much less troubled by the mysteries of life. So gradually they developed rules in the society, and to convince themselves they said that was god's message to us. Then what, people started following the rules, and accumulation of these rules formed religion. The fact is that Jesus is not a God. He was a human, like us. If you do not believe, ask a Muslim whether Jesus is God or not. God is just the imagination of your mind. The mind of that Muslim Person would be occupied by another God, if you say it. One last thing, about another mystery: Dying. You know how many roundworms and mosquitoes dye in a day? You do not even care, right? Then why dying of human is such a big deal. There is no difference in the way other creators and human dye. It's our mind that gives such a great attention to human deaths. The loss of their contacts is unbearable to us. Then we ask where s/he might be now. To know the answer, kill an ant, and keep it at your desk for a while. You will see what happens after death. Summerd

I don't care about religion, I was born a hindu but went to a Catholic school all my life but the problem is I have no knowledge about both the religions and I am not interested. Its not really that important....but I hate those people who try to tell me that I am going to hell just because I am not a Christian. I believe in God, I respect Allah, Shiva, Jesus and so on....I think all religions are made to controll men... Bhenda

Summerd, Thank you for your input. I mean I used to be the same before that is not too concerned about "God". But then I went through an experience which made me realize the existence of God. Seeing everything in the universe put together in such an amazing fashion , how can you deny something high power than us? Man could not have done that. The beautiful sun-rise and sun-set , how can they possibly happen? There are many examples that put us without excuse to deny God. And regarding Christianity, I could relate myself to the Bible. There are some part I kind a doubt but the most part I think it's true. I wish I had a better way to explain. You are convinced with your own belief and I am with my own belief. I don't have a magic touch to change your mind but can only pray for you so that God will open your heart. By His Grace, Montou

To all of those interested in religion! Religion in itself is incomplete. It becomes a tradition without roots. Philosophy is the root of religion. If you want to understand eastern religion you should study eastern philosophy. Eastern philosophy is the most defined, mostly talked about religion. When I say eastern religion I mean all religions Hindu (Buddhist) and Muslim. There are a lot of similarities between the philosophy of these religions of course there is a difference in customs and traditions. Here I am not referring to traditions as religion. I mean religion on philosophical sense. Before I go any further and make you bored with the philosophy let me share you my experience with religion. I am a born Hindu and have practiced Hinduism all my life. I have seen and felt the Gods during meditation and also with my eyes. I have also had encounters with Jesus Christ. You are wondering how can a Hindu encounter Jesus Christ? What I am trying to say is if you have a pure and unconditioned mind you can experience God. Weather it be a Hindu, Muslim or a Christian God. In my opinion I know my father he is one, he is God. Some call him Bagman, some call him Jesus and some call him Allah. Different opinions and religions emerged out of different cultures and times. They are all trying to explain the same God we are all looking for but they have different way of expressing it. This is what makes all the religions different, at the core they are all looking for the same God. God Bless you all.

well, the one who said that christinity is good and recently became christinity, r they originally nepalese and hindu or they are american or any other, i totally agree with nepalichora, and i am really wondering why nepalese came from nepal to US for study switch to different religion, especially christians, do they found something extraordinary stuff in that religions or just to get adjust with america and amrican people. i recelty came to america and i made many american friends. everytime, those friends are forcing to go to church and anything about christians. why is that, they said that if i don't accept jesus, i'll go to hell....is that the only reason to be christians? i gave a damn to that christinity group. it doesn't have any good reasons and philosophy

The matter is not that you got to the hell or heaven the thing is about the faith promises, freedom you have in christ. MR/MISS/MRS Another. Have you turned the bible or heard the saying of jesus. Try hearing it first. It is your choice to become a christian or not. After hearing that if you donot want to be christian that is fine but you need to listen it first.I will pray for you that you will find the truth. And you will belive in Jesus who is not only the god but your freind who died for you and you cannot deny the fact that we all have creidts to him and you donot have to pay it is your choice.

Another, The reason why nepali guys are doing that is because they realise how much they dislike Hinduism once they begin to enjoy the Christian way of life.It is that point when Hinduism becomes completely unacceptable to them and it becomes even shameful to admit that u belonged to that Vodoo religion once upon a time.Belief in God is something which no one of the world is sure God really exists. So why not convert to Christianity instead of being a crappy Hindu. Andy.

Yea so we do have to believe in only one religion that is christianity. It is not easy to get rid of religion. If you are going to do that than devil will be all around the world. And world philosophy will not work and you are going to out of the people minds and you cannot change peoples mind and they are not going to give faith in god. They aint gonna blieve in ordinary peoples.

namsakar! well, religion huh? yeah keep on bullshitting urself and keep on saying this religion and that religion this god and that god..... yeah yeah !jesus died for our sins..thats what they say!and i just wonder why?if u commit sin then u r the one responsible for it. i know hindu religion, and i just dont beleive why people lost track in this hindu religion! god never asked to sacrifice poor animals, making teh whole temple floor full of bloodshed! i never found where? which paragraph? which line? in holy books said that we have to sacrifice blood!so if killing other living beings in teh name of god is alright in hinduism then i dont have to say anything! judge urself! yeah i know what kuran says and what allah is all about!if u have to kill other humans in teh name of allah then its alright! this line in kuran was written later on by some @##$$$*%$!~ people! dont want to go further! budhism??? now something i really like to talk about! i am not a budhhist but i happened to follow what budhhism says in life ! but after goin through several books and after spending several months with those monks i really find it intresting about the budhism! there is no god and it is not a religion at all!its just the way people should live! budhissm or teh way of budhha is all about how to live life peacefully and how to love and have compassion! that is it,....no preaching about god , no rules and no heaven n hell and no such talkings about religion! if u just want to live peacefully and have compassion for other people and being happy is the soul reason of ur life then ur a budhhist,u beleive or not u r following teh path of budhha not god! budhha and god is different, budhha is human just like us and god is something that human created, not real or in other words does not exist its just a strong word that happened to control people through different religion! people who follow religion and god are blind people ....a blind people needs a stick to walk and somebody to help them cross teh road!its just what kind of stick and who help them out to cross teh road!

Nepali Chora is Right. That is the best way to practice any religion. Like a train car , there would be 4 doors and several windows. No matter whether you get in the car through the windows or the doors, you still get into the same car. Similarly no matter what religion or faith you follow, you are searching for the same ultimate superpower, which is the truth and the only truth. With this perception the Hindu Philosophy very long time ago acclaimed " Ekam Sad bipra bahuda badanti" , arthat; There is only one god but the names that are given to him are different . No matter which path, or religion in that matter, one pursues, still ultimately will be closer to the same omnipotent, omnipresent god Just like the train-car example. i support Nepali chora's views and philosophy.
