My vote for San too ........ San, its amazing to know that u r the doing the wonderful job of maintaing the Sajha site. I religiously visit the site everyday. Thousands of Nepalis and friends of Nepal r being updated through ur unrelentless efforts and they have u to thank for. I'm sure people dont realize the work going on behind the scenes but ur efforts are highly commendable. Keep up the good work :)

My Vote too goes to SAN. Though the majority of voters in this forum are not GBNC members, but, SAN has surely made the name of GBNC known to more peoples outside Boston Area. Well, Ashu was one of the guy who brought GBNC name to common forum, and SAN had made the name sustainable in Cyberspace, especially, among Nepalis hooked to internet. hGxP PS: Nepe ji finally, you also registered your name. I liked your move.

Immense appreciation and my vote to San too. On another note, haina, Nepe, Hahooguru Fan Club (HFC) ko second virtual conference garne bela bhayena? Ma ta rogi president, tapain jhan tyesto active deputy bhaneko, bepatta hunuhunchha ni?! La, tyo tapain ko be-talabi bida (leave without pay) sakiye pacchi, meeting bolaunus hai. Ek duita position fill pani garnu chha. And one suggested agenda is I really want to hear GP-ji's biography. His early days in Pokhara, his growth in Kathmandu, and his ongoing years of maturity in Japan...I'm sure as Sajha's respected thul-dai, he has tons to offer in inspiration, wisdom, and entertainment. I'm serious, I really want to hear GP-ji talk about his life just like Ganeshman-ji used to narrate his gripping "mero katha ka pana haru" in Punarjagarna Saptahik. Ke chha, GP-ji bichar? yehan le aapatti janaunu bhayena bhane, arko baithak ko praramva nai yehan ko jibani baata suru! We will clap whenever you pause. Seriously. Unless you veto this proposal, my deputy Nepe will put it down on the agenda when he calls the 2nd HFC meeting at his convenience.

Paschim, Re HCF, first of all, I appreciate your approval to my betalabi bida. Thank you, Adhakchhyajyu (Tara Adhakchhyajyu swayam.le 'Khoj' ko laagi bhanera linubhayeko bida.ko upalabdhi chhahi ajhai kehi haat laageko chhaina bhanera arko thread ma lekhnubhayo ni. Amerika.ma NBC le chalaairaheko naya reality show 'The Bachelor' ko second part.ma apply garne ho ki ? First part ko bachelor Alex laai herdaa tapai.laai jhaljhalti samjhiraheko thiyen. La hai bichaar garnuhos). And yes, I too think it’s time to call the second conference of HFC. Thanks for your suggestions re agenda. And thank you Guruji for your enthusiasm and support. I agree with Paschim. What could be more graceful than inaugurating the next conference of HCF with some atma-britanta of our honorable Guruji. Although, I would like Guruji to take his time and share his atama-katha in the pace, part and the length most convenient to himself without any pressure time frame or particular need of the audience. So, GuruDev, Adhakchhyajyu and all registered as well as unregistered loyal members of the HCF, please give me some time to think about and compile the program for the meeting. I will come back with the announcement very soon. Meanwhile I solicit for your suggestion of any kind regarding the organization of the upcoming conference. A quick idea that comes to my mind is conducting a series of various sessions of our interests, for example, Hahoo statute, Hahoo ethics, Hahoo awards, Hahoo fun(d), Hahoo freshman course (for Sajha newcomers), welcome/farewell etc. Regarding the last, I think our veteran Sajha heavyweight (GuruDev’s word) and a valued HFC member Ashu deserves a grand farewell from Sajha or better a petition for return to Sajha. So, please send your suggestions either to the original HFC thread or my private email. http://www.sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=3976 or neppe2002@yahoo.com Nepe Deputy President Hahoo Fan Club Sajha.com

My Bro. 13-thum, you wrote: "My vote definitely goes to One and Only San". --- These days, ma alikati sabda sabda ma nihu khojuwa bhako ma afailai regret garchu, and if I return to Nepal, now I like to take Nepali language course to understand the meaning of each word. Well, same in English too. But, these days, I thank San, because the double click on any word at sajha.com tells all the meaning of any words appeared at Sajha.com if they are in english. Confessing this much, I understand your intention in the line, but, I disagree with the use of phrase "ONE AND ONLY " ... I mean let us not discredit others at GBNC.org, I would rather prefer (well, its personal preference at first hand, but, I want to keep room open for others too). i.e. "My vote definitely goes to San this time ...". Let us keep room open, and while appreciating San, let us keep some room for San to appreciate others who might be helping him from GBNC.org side, I will say at least the GBNC peoples trusted him to work on behalf of GbNC.org I mean by using "ONE AND ONLY ", San can not agree / appreciate with you 100% , because you have not left any room for san to appreciate that he is Citizen of the Year at GBNC because of his hard work certainly, because of ability, but, in today's world, there is another reason we have to appreciate and that is SAN was given this responsibility. I remember its becasue, when I graduated from an univ. , and joined a job at HMG office, I had to bow to get something to do, because there were a general feeling that anyone can work "why should you be given the job?", and I mean getting oppertunity to work is also a great thing San (If I am there) has to appreciate and San will do that. I always tell peoples that even its volunteer work, today, we have to appreciate the peoples who allowed you to work as volunteer, and because working as volunteer, you not only served the society, but, also you learned great things and top of all you had achieved a new level of experience which many deserved, but, were not really unfortunate to get such chances to works, its simply because we have many peoples who can do the things. I mean here everyone has played a great role and surely given the chances, San has served a great job which we might not have achived in short time interval. When I worked in the NEA in Nepal, I bowed to my seniors to give me a job, the senior was reluctant to give me job because I was new at the office and was just after the graduation. He told me several time, "I am sorry, I can not give you any job". Well, in that situation, I could have kept silence, because being a govt. emplyee my salary was sure. But, I kept on begging him, and I told him that I can satisfy him. Well, I at least begged a several time more and finally, he asked me to do something. As things started, I worked very hard, and to remain at the center of those engineers at NEA, I had to produce more and be unique than others. So, I did try and finally, I did the job a bit differently and better, and I gave him the sample how does he likes the result. Well, a guy working at another corner came to see my work results and he told me "hey, yo hudain ... ", but, the guy who gave me job, I told him "what kind of result and where do you want modifications" and well, he gave me feedbacks. Then, I produced what he wanted. He was so surprised with my results and I still remember him. He continued giving me feedback and I continued producing results for him. Finally, I remember all the engineers in room (about 7 or 8) have to transfer whole job to me, because the technique/ knowlege that I had, they were not equipped with. Finally, I was working and they were begging jobs to do. From just next week, I remmeber I used to go to my office early 8 oclock (the real office time was 10 am), because he asked me, and I remember I left my office at 7 or 8 oclock. Well, I established who I am and how can I produce work results, putting rest in to equivalently in dust bins. Finally, when all these engineers had a time to work for some consultancy work, I remember "...ji can you join my consultancy firm" ... . .. Wow, peoples need me so much, and only a few months back, I was begging to do a small job .... So, its not me great alone there, I do appreciate the guys who trusted me and pushed the things they were supposed to do. I got a lot of experiences. Finally, out of evening time consultancy work, I made extram money.... Rest story later. I want to conclude that lets keep room for San to apprecaite or express his thanks on us for our support on him. But, by writing ONE and ONLY, we are not leaving any rooms for him to appreciaate many others who supported him and we don't kknow them, and it will put San in difficult situation and its not democratic to assume ONE AND ONLY great person at SAjha.com, but, "San this time" will force / promote others to work or follow the hard work of SAn and open room for new Citizens of Year in 2003 and for those who might be working better at GBNC will not be disappointed. This is my personal understanding. In Democracy, there is no word like ONE and ONLY ..., and in Sajha.com, the word Sajha does not like ONE and ONLY phrase too. San deserves Citizen of the Year 2002, and those who worked better, might be awarded in the successive year. Only in dictatorship, we find only one leader, and I remember a quote "A leader without successor is a dictator. " Girija samarthak in nepali congress use similar working style thats why Girija samartha don't have successor and find the dictator Girija at the age of 78. Lets hope we will have many candidates "Citizen of the Year", but, this time, San deserves more. I hope I am not disappointing San. But, I wanted San to find a room to appreciate us back and his other colleagues in side the GBNC curtain. Thanks. hGxP
