How come there's more information on the ANA Convention 2002 on sajha.com than in the ANA website?
I guess we operate differently than everybody else. Oh well.

ANA should have all info abt convention....and i could not find DC nepali community website either. poor guys...............

ANA is a flop organization. No organization without a ideological spirit can thrive, ANA is one of them. What kinds of constructive works has it done so far? To my knowledge , ANA people have collected some money to send one psycho guy from chicago to Nepal.That's it i think.
I have seen in the convention that people don't come there to further the cause that would enhance our Nepalitwa. Parents come there to meet other parents for a relationship match for their children. Newly married ones come to show their dulha/dulahi and gar gahanaa to others. Yuppies come there to show off...their cars and give out their visiting cards of no use to others which has eail addresse and phone numbers.
This is one of the most unproductive Kumbha Mela I have ever seen in my life. Such gatherings and organizations are bound to utter failures.That's the reason we don't see any info in their website, but we get to know it from Sajha......

Let me clarify some confusion here. ANA webmaster is in Nepal currently. He is due back in DC in this weekend. I am sure he will update the site once he is back.
