Deuba to have rare and historic meeting with American President
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will have a rare and historic meeting with American President George W. Bush in Washington on May 6, the Foreign Ministry said Monday.
Deuba will leave Washington for New York on May 8 to attend the UN Summit on Children the same day. The summit will last until May 10. In Washington, Deuba will meet Senator and senior American officials along with Nepalese living there.

The funny thing is how could Deuba meet with Bush on May 6th in Washington if he will leave for New York on may 8th ....

Yes, you are missing the whole thing.
Deuba meets Bush in Washington on 6th, leaves for NY on 8th.
