I heard the Royal families contirbuting something first time to the public.

King Gyanendra and other members of the royal family have contributed Rs.2 million to help civilian victims and families of soldiers killed in military operations against Maoists since November, an announcement said Tuesday

Is there any organization in US actively collecting donations for "Maoist affected victim". I would like to contribute some.

Finally the royal family is doing something for the people, maybe they are trying to prove that they don't only luto nepleese but also give. Maybe Gyenendra is trying to pay back for all the murtis he stole.

2 million Nepali rupees is like pocket change for the Royal Family. Gyanendra should be ashamed of himself!
