All are just spreading of fake propaganda against ma and re. I just went to vacation at my village. People are as usual, nothing or nobody bother them. Their lives as usual as daily. But I was afraid like invisible ghost running toward me. Because I was mentally afraid of someone miss act. I went village different location visit different people and have fun. But when I came to Kathmandu, all newspaper telling that there were big war and lots of people died. This is totally 100% wrong doing by government and his dirty supporters. News Media must be trust worthy and respectful. So people know what going on there. It is chetting with Nepali people for self fulfillment. This way this government can not hold for a long time. Chetting, bluffing to Nepali people, hiding truth, killing innocent people by telling them maoist terrorist. Doing fake public really by doing own organize.
HahooGuru Posted on 06-May-02 07:59 PM

Probably you are among the crowd of Maoist terrorists.
I remember a friend of mine whose brother is a commander
of Maoist group, said once that when he went to his village,
he did not find anything wrong there. The young kids who
were Maoists were so helpful to him .. . . They did not ask
him any money, nothing. But, another far relataive of mine,
who lived qite close to his house/village, he was threatened to
death if he does not pay Rs. 5, 000. It was the story a 1 or 2 years
back. His crime was that he was not in Maoist gang.

Lately, another far relative of mine was not in his village and had
not seen his parent for long time, went to village very silently in
night, but, the Maoists caught him, because they were continuously
watching his house. His crime was he was not Maoist supporter.
Then, they broke his legs. He returned to KTM, and he is happy
that Maoist did not kill him. You see, getting broken leg is now
called a fortunate man.

another relative of mine, and he sold all his properties with the
continuous toruture of CHANDA chanda chanda, .. and moved to
KTM and now he is doing nothing.

another relative of mine, they did not go to their village for 6 years
because they have small piece of land and now they moved to KTM.
The KHETI PATI in that land is all done by so called Maoists. They are
paying Malpots only. They are hoping one day the Maoist will go away
from their land.

Today, all the extremes at UML, are maoist in night and they threaten
peoples and demand money, food ... and in day time they are just
allare who even don't work, they never worked, they used to drink
alcohol and play palying cards are now Maoist hardcores, not because
they are hard working peoples, but, because they smelled money
and power insdie being Maoists. This is the tactics used by your mother
organization headed by BRB and Prachanda.

Hey, visitor
Don't try to bullshit.

Off course agree with some points you made about the media.
But the situation is not as usual.

So sad, You did not even have time to find the difference.
Were you drunk all the time or what?

Today's nepali media trusworthy in 100%.

Fact: 50%
Bullshit: 40%
Confious: 10%

Media do not go to field or involve in event. They just pick rumors from people and publicize. Mostly right now, they listen to government, police and army. They easily get manipulate from them.

Hey, you so called blind visitor, read the following piece. How
the life of peoples in village is made miserable by Maoists.

KOL, May 8th 2002.

An account of horror and terror

By Demling Lama

On April 4, 2002, I went to my house at Fulpingkot-7, from the district headquarters, Chautara. I was told there that Maoists were looking for me. I thought may be they have some questions for me. On April 5, I was woken up by a knock on the door. It was a female Maoist. I came out of my house on her call. I noticed that other Maoist guerrillas were there, too. I shook hands with them.

They said they had come to me as directed by the so-called district people’s government chief, Dawa Lama. He wanted to see me. Since it was too early in the morning, I told them that I would come later. But they were not ready. So I went with them. I left home with them at 5:30 am. We had tea in Virkha of Fulpingkot. The Maoist local government chief was supposed to be there for the meeting with me. But he didn’t come over there. So they took me to the nearby forest, Seltap. I had lunch in the forest at around 2 PM, prepared by Maoists. The chief came after my lunch and thus began my ordeal.

He asked me to give an account of my crimes against the ‘people’s war’. He said that I had helped about 17 village youths to join the police force. I have been working as a reporter of state owned Radio Nepal. He asked questions about my work. He asked me, ‘Why do you portray us as terrorists? Why did you help the people who wanted to surrender in front of local administration?’ I told them that I worked as a journalist and I didn’t help any Maoists to surrender before the administration. I had just given their news about surrender.

After the interrogation was over, they tied my hands and legs with a rope. Some Maoists started showing me the Khukuri, others began to load their guns with bullets. Finally they took me to another forest. I thought they were going to kill me. They guarded me heavily in the new forest area. I pleaded for my life. But they didn’t listen to me.

I wanted to meet my wife. I wanted to give her my suggestions about how to run the family after I am dead and gone. But they were unmoved. They took me around to the forest and began torturing me. They hit me on my thigh with polythene pipes. The beating left my under thigh with black spots. I couldn’t even stand properly. They started torturing me from 5:30 p.m. for hours.

I remained with them that night. They began the second round of interrogation next day, April 7, at 4 p.m.. The charge against me was that I was a government spy. I denied the false charge. I said I never provided information about Maoists to the government.

After all that, they again started torturing me and some of them were also writing notes about my torture as it went. Some of the guerillas were poised to use their weapons. I thought they were going to kill me any moment. After the torture, was over, they began interrogating me again. While they did that, the rebels untied my hands and legs. Then suddenly, I noticed that they were busy on their own job.

This gave me the break I needed. I took the risk and fled. So I jumped out to the bush, full of thorns. They fired at me. But I managed to find my way to safety. I walked throughout the night as well as the next day. Thorns had left marks on me. I was bleeding badly. My body was totally swollen. I was badly hurt.

I escaped the captivity on the evening of April 7. I walked for two consecutive nights and reached the highway and boarded a bus for treatment. A month has passed since then, but I continue to be under Maoist threat. They have issued orders to shoot me wherever I am spotted. I have been taking precautions to save my life. I have been asked by the local government not to leave the district headquarters.

BBC News say Fake Posted on 12-May-02 10:34 AM

Eyewitness – Reporter by Daniel Lak (BBC):
The army in Nepal is withdrawing from two forward positions in the Maoist rebel stronghold of Rolpa in the west of the country. The move follows a week in which intense clashes between the security forces and guerrillas claimed scores of lives on both sides.
However, early reports of hundreds of Maoist casualties now seem to have been somewhat exaggerated.
More than 3,500 people have died in just over six years of fighting by the Maoists, who want to replace Nepal's constitutional monarchy with a Communist republic.
'Costly victory'
Atop a barren ridge surrounded by Himalayan foothills a nervous garrison of army and police officers guard little more than burnt-out buildings and the scattered possessions of dead colleagues.
Dozens of soldiers and policemen died here several days ago, badly outnumbered by attacking Maoist rebels.
The Maoists eventually overran the garrison but fled several hours later with all of the weapons and ammunition stored there.
The army says it was a costly victory for the rebels; officers estimate that up to a 150 may have died under heavy fire from defending government forces.
I saw about 20 bodies of Maoist rebels that the army had exhumed from nearby shallow graves.
'Confidence high'
A senior general inspecting the site ordered that the garrison make a tactical withdrawal to the nearest big town, the district headquarters of Rolpa and the army's main base in the Maoist stronghold.
I was also told by senior officers who commanded operations in the earlier battle at the hilltop known as Lisne Lek that Maoist casualties may have been overestimated by officials and ministers in Kathmandu.
One government official said last week that 500 Maoists may have been killed, but the army commander said he had seen actually only 21 rebels dead.
What seemed at first to have been one of the most significant series of battles of this war so far now looks to be something less.
The clashes cost more than a 100 lives for sure - but on both sides of this conflict.
The army says its level of confidence remains high especially with promised help from the United States and Britain.
But a senior officer admitted that its going to take some time to win this war.

Anyway, I am happy that I do not have to hear 100s of police killed by Maoists
which used to be regularly real news, that KOL and Nepalnews.com.

What is wrong if KOL and Nepalnews.com have numbers exaggerated numbers.
Peoples are misinformed. For peoples, whether 10maoists die (which is
regular news corner in TKP) or 100 die, 1000s die, it is not going to matter,
for peoples today what matters is the reduction in the activity of Maoists.
We did not hear these days the activities of Maoists as we used to hear
in the past. This should be fulcrum of happiness, relax and a step towards
peace. If you guys are concerned with exaggerated number, that is
hampering moral of Maoists, I feel pity for you. If the number is really
a big matter to Maoists morals, than, I suggest this number be doubled
and write a fake news when a day pass without any death of a single
Maoists. That is real psychological war against maoists. That should be
promoted. Peopels should shown via TV how Maoists hack their comarades
i.e. who are half dead, could have been saved if were allowed stay at
battle field in wounded position. Anyway, psychological war should be
continued, this will reduce fresh Bharti in Maoist rebels. There were
millions of peoples in Western Nepal starting Dhading District, who
were dilemma to stay in village or leave the village, are now enjoying
fresh air because of Army's survellience. Lets not carried away from
some Maoist fanatics in this site.

Goverment Kill Journalist Posted on 26-Jun-02 11:01 AM

The Federation of Nepalese Journalists has called on the government to give details about the condition of a jailed newspaper editor.

The group's president Taranath Dahal made the demand after newspaper reports suggested that Krishna Sen, the editor of a pro-Maoist newspaper Janadisha, had died after being tortured.

The Nepalese authorities have yet to comment on the reports.

Nepalese journalists have accused the authorities of tightening restrictions on the press, and say journalists have been harassed -- and in some cases arrested or tortured -- since a state of emergency was declared last November.
