Hi All:
When and where are Prime Minister Deuba, his wife Arzoo and their entourage going to be doing their shopping this time around? What good is a "foren" trip without a detour for personal shopping at the expense of the State Coffers? What good is "green dollars" if it cannot be returned to where it originated from? Is it going to be NuYok or Belayat this time around?
Any comments would be appreciated!

Lady, get an effin' life, if you ever so kindly would? The man's come over to discuss the fate of millions of Nepalis back home, and here you are deridin' him over people's desire to shop among all things???!!!
Ofcourse he'd shop, for someone visiting New York from Kathmandu...so would any of your family members if they did.
Man! Where do they breed these people????

I feel sorry for the Deuba family. Their big stake at Enron vanished into oblivion.
Deuba was believed to have received some stock options at Employee price as a gift for his hard work to allow Enron for the Karnali project in the 1994-1996 period. It is also believed that Deuba was informed by one of the Enron Board Members (his good buddy) of the problems they were facing. If my recollection is correct, Mrs. Deuba made a low profile visit to the US just before Enron stocks plunged to pennies.
Wonder why the President of the United States would visit with a puny PartyCommittee elected Prime-Minister of a country like Nepal. Deuba has connection with Enron-->Geroge Bush!!!

wow! breaking news! george bush has connections with enron. so, why didn't the then pm deuba meet with clinton, when the whole nepal-enron thing was live? maybe mrs. deuba made a hush-hush rush to bharat in march 2000 when clinton stopped there on his world farewell tour? ...........mmmmmmh, ..........mmmmmh.
so, the deuba's "big stake" vanished--even though mrs. deuba, allegedly acting on an insider trading tip, made a last-minute trip here just before the stock tanked and did nothing to liquidate the family's holdings.
