Comparing Bacchu kailash's mayaley..mero.mayaley and cobweb's Maryo nee Maryo nee...is just like talking about apples and oranges. Unlike physics, the theory of relativity does not really work well in musical world. I have an equal passion for emerging nepali Pops as well as purana nepali geet haru. When I was in Nepal last time, I got chance to watch Nabin Bhattarai's interview on TV. One of the question he was asked was why do old musicians and singers often convict nepali pop as small landfills of musical garbage. I do not know how logical the response is but I like his comment on it. "They are simply scared of growing popularity and sometimes feel less popular and not that much competent enough to win the heart of young generation". I am with it. No matter how capable you are, you have to respect the new taste, I mean you have to go with the flow.
I would go for Deep Shrestha rather than Natikaji because he has been constantly updating himself as the taste changes. Sorry! I am not trying to make it personal but I have to give some example.

Some Pop songs are touchy and equally melodiuos except for little glitch in their lyrics..like

sunidewu.heridewu...BY Okili ( I guess). One of the line says " Koiliharu yaha gawundai hidchun". I think birds fly. It would be appropriate and equally melodious if portrayed... "Koiliharu yaha ganwudai woudchun". There would not be any melodiuos conflict with the replacement of this simple word. I have noticed little glitche like this in so many great pop songs. Have you guys noticed any?

Narayan gopal sings...

Timile pani ma jastai maya garera hera...

This is one of my all time favorite songs. Words, music, and voice all are impressive, at least to me. I am not, however, a master in Nepali grammar but it sounds odd to hear "timile pani ma jastai..". I think, just my opinion, "timile pani maile jastai... " is the correct way of saying.

From a popular fairly new (compare to above by Narayan Gopal) song "Chhekyo..Chhekyo ..."

"Mayako boli ke saro mitho mutu nai bijaune..." I think mitho chhez le bijaudaina. bijaune is a negative word to me.

ppl don't walk 24/7 i agree, and i also agree that primary means of travel is udne but in this case...uniharule (geet jasle lekhya ho) tyo situation batauna khojya pani huna sakcha jaba chara haru hidadai gai raheko thiyo...jaba uni haru udi raheko thiyena or basi raheko thiyena or sutiraheko thiyena....only hidi raheko thiyo....thats a possibility....
