Indian journalism is quite daredevilling and its ventures
have become quite fruitful these days. Not only it is de facto
Akhtiyar Durupayog of India, but also providing hope of
salvation for corruption ridden Indian Society.Recent deeds of
tehelka.com surely proves that. A lot of Indian corrupt leaders
are put in the dock of public judgement rightnow, and the
windfall of resignation of corrupt officers is there for indians.

It is of course ironic that the killers of apostle of
non-violence are in government in India now. It is also sad
that the people who are officially cussing Talibans in India
now were once themselves heaped opprobrium by the world for
staging the destruction of a place worshipped by minority.

For us, India matters. It (not she) is obtrusive neighbor, who
makes us feel unsafe all the time with its vague intention and
mixed signals.

For us, India matters because India, for worse, still runs KTM,
albeit indirectly. An ambassador from India is more than an
ambassador from a friendly nation, because of his activities, his
deep pockets and shady conversations, and sometimes even because
of his random amity with leaders of all political parties.

For us, India matters because India is ushering in the age of
saffron color, and India for its sheer size is capable of flinging
stones in Nepalese water to make it troubled. We don't want any
more trouble because of any particular color, again.
