I will be participating on the Internship USA Program sponsored by the Council on International Educational Exchange (Council Exchanges). As my sponsor, Council Exchanges is authorized by the U.S. government to issue the necessary documentation for me to obtain a J-1 visa, allowing me to work legally within the U.S. for up to eighteen months.

Could anyone advice as to where I should apply for an internship placement in Boston preferably in Managment, Computing(GIS) etc.

You got to find from each of companies who willing to offer intership programs. Many companies offers programs for interns. But I can't tell, most of companies are offering those because of down turn of economic of US.

- Try "internship" word in google.com and will display you linkages, companies, program and location.

- Try individual companies like SPRINT.COM, MCIWORLD, AT&T, Genuity, Akamai etc. Most of the large companies offer varieties of intern in different field. I guess, you can choose location where you prefer.

Hi,

good chance to have internship in US companies. Because of down turn of economy, u hardly get internship right the way. there are thousands of US-students try for internship, but only few companies are offering paid-internship.

why don't u apply for IMF, IBRD, and so on? IMF have paid-intern per month $ 3,000. u will get money and experience. at the same time, u will be offered job in IMF. isn't it great? But, u have to be Ph D. candidate or enrolled for Ph. D. in economics.

good luck
