Diamond S. JBRana wrote Seto Bagh . I have read that novel couple of times. Now I wonder why, though. It was great (At least that's how felt) when I read it the first time.

....one of the best things I ever read..... After reading "Seto Baag", I followed Rana's all other published works as well. All are great.

Kiranji: Seto Bagh, one of the most popular novel in Nepali literature which documented a love story between the son of a primeminister and the daughter of a king, was written in the jail by Diamond Shamsher JBR. His retrospections are being published in Kantipur these days. I think you will find them very interesting.

I recommend "Seto Bagh" to all readers who have interest in Nepal and Nepali history. I read this novel when I was in 7th grade. I consider it as a great achievement of my life. It is a great source of Rana history. It is a historical & romantic novel of Junga Bahadur's elder son, Jagat Jung and ,as far as i recall, elder daughter of King Surendra. i strongly recommend this novel. If you like it, also read "Janga Bahadur" by Rajesh Shrestha. pratik
