How many of you watched the World Cup game: "Cameroon vs Saudi Arabia" today?? If you did, did you see that huge Nepalese flag right in the middle of the field??

hey, maybe this would be a great topic for a running thread. kinda like "where's waldo?" except replace waldo with the nepali flag. where else have you seen a nepali flag unexpectedly?
once i was waiting for a metro train near dc and looked into an office window. there was a tibetan flag and, under it, a nepali flag hung upside down and backwards. that person's either confused, in distress, or both...

I'm sure most of you have seen the movie "The Graduate". When this guy goes to find the girl who is studying in the University of California, Berkely, I believe, there is a scene in the University where you will see flags hung up in the back ground. If you look carefully, you will see a Nepali flag there. How about that shit?

It was Hahoo Guru's flag. He is in Japan, and he wa the one wagging the nepalese flag. I guess he couldn't figure out Saudis from Nepalese, or could be Black cameroons from Nepalese tharus.

nepals flag in world cup??? yeah all right..and can someone expain nepals flag to me????? why is it rectungular??? why is it the only flag in the world that looks like it does??? isnt it hard to make that type of flag?? i mean measurement wise.
do you think that flag will be replaced with a more modern flag in near future???
do you wana see it changed???

Absolutely correct. I had re-confirmed, nepali flag was there, I saw several time. Not only that, during Camera's view in audience in the stadium, I had seen 4 nepali people wearing Nepali cap as well. Mostly, look like, many Nepali people are working in Japan. Probably, they might also working during that World Cup stadium and they tried to flag Nepali and culture.

Have u guys noticed how mat dillon patau-ed cameron diaz in "something about mary"? The "bramhastra" was he said he owned a condomonium in Nepal. Isnt that a good reputation of nepal?

I don't understand why they had to bring a Nepalese flag in a "Cameroon vs Saudi Arabia" game. Of course, I'm proud of seeing my native flag, but what's it got to do with any of these 2 teams?? I'm sure that flag left the players wondering for a while...I'm also sure that is one of the reasons why the Saudis lost the game.

He's my friend Shisheer Bhatta and i hope it will calm down the curiosities of those who spotted Nepali flag in the Cameroon vs Saudi Arabia match in the world cup.
Let's be proud of his act.

It's very cheap to drop humors in such a patriotic issue. If u didn't see, why not believe those who said that they saw.
