I was thinking Ariel aka someonesfan aka anotheronesfan would not want to wash my linen in public but since he's fast becoming the gossip king here, I might as well reply to him in person:
1. I was born and brought up in Darjeeling, India. Yes yes, your chyattar zilla. So that would technically make me an Indian and to which I bear proof, I have an Indian passport. I DID NOT PAY SOME LOUSY OFFICER to get a nepali nagarikta and because of which I encountered millions of problems with visas trying to travel around the globe. Trust me, people who buy nepali nagariktas are so much more smarter than I was. I envy your smartness. But this whole charade brings me to another question for most of you who degradingly call us Indians (not denying this at all). What nationality would a nepali couples child who is born in the states be??? A nepali?? DEFINITELY NOT! An American right?? well well.....hmm does that get anyone thinking? That couple will be proud to say that that child is AMRIKAN! And I should be ashamed of saying I'm from Darjeeling. I THINK NOT! It all has to do with mentality. Well, I'm way past the age of trying to fake dhoka and dailo and khidki and jhyal..so lets just say, you be proud of where you're from asan galli, makhan tole, kirtipur, manang and let others be the same. In short, there is no argument to that, just some confused minds!
2. Do I have pertinent information on whom??? hmmmmmm you must have meant LFR. Well that didn't get very far and from the likes of it, the mother hens, the mother goose et al seem to have scared him away :)!!
3. And NO, I am not going to be in DC

People don't live but watch living. The line between private and public life is increasingly diminishing. Postemodernism, rings a bell :)????

I just thought I could enlighten some people in this forum :). After all, have you been anywhere in this world where u don't encounter a nepali? The answer is a rare NO. Therefore as we become more globally available :), we must also stop making stupid stigmatisms.

Stupid stigmatisms or your wrong gone assumption, Suna ? Yes, I certainly can imagine a place without a Nepali (I'm pretty sure, there must be one somewhere) but not without an INDIAN. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that though. Don't we love PATEL SINGH ? :-)

I wasn't throwing a cheap shot. All I said was, there are more Indians in THE WORLD than Nepalese. Patriotism/nationalism is totally irrelevant to the topic.
Anyway, I rest my case here guys.
