Has anyone tried Neptalk phone card? Does it work? VOIP is illegal in Nepal so I was just wondering should I try it or not. Because most of the cards these days on and off. I need to call outside of KTM. If I couldn't connect or loose the minute how is their customer service?

Hello, Try the card through http://www.nepalisite.com The service is provided by AT & T. They used to work fine before and now sometimes its hard to get through the lines in Nepal. Other than that its good. If you lose any minutes then just call the customer service ASAP, and the will give you the minutes back. Good Luck..

There are many cafe in Kathmandu from where you can make calls to US for around 15 Rs per minute. I made a call to US for 5 Rs (approx 2 cents/min) from one of the shops with couple of computers at Batule ghar at Dilli bazar ukalo. Connection good.
