kk	Posted on 14-Jun-02 01:17 PM LTTE training Maoists: Envoy In a startling revelation, Nepali Ambassador to Sri Lanka Bal Bahadur Kuwar quoting President Chandrika Kumaratunga said LTTE is training Nepal's Maoists fighting for a communist state in the kingdom, daily newspaper Space Time Today reported. Kuwar, the paper said, has submitted a report to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. The report comes after an earlier denial by Kathmandu-based. Sri Lankan ambassador that LTTE members were not involved in training rebels inside Nepal. The newspaper reported the ambassador has sent a message to the LTTE through an felicitator to stop such training. Kuwar has taken up the issue with the ambassador of Norway mediating between the government and the LTTE to end the conflict in the island nation.
