Hi everyone - Have you all been receiving a lot of junk mail lately?
This might be the reason why...
Did you know that about 2 months ago MSN added 2 little boxes in all the profiles? These boxes, if marked share your email with other
users. One box, if ticked, gives other people the right to see your information including your address. Now MSN has taken all the
passports that were created before they added this and marked YES SHARE MY INFORMATION and did not tell anyone. (!!!!)
HOW to remove your name: sign into your email account (for those with more then 1 you have to do it for all of them), click on
Options then Personal Profile and scroll to the bottom ... u will see the TWO added boxes - remove the check marks and finish up.
PLZ FWD this to everyone who has hotmail - lets not wait until it is too late (this may decrease all that junk mail that seems to have
doubled lately). CHECK it out. It's true

i was becoming frustated at the rate junk mails were showing up in my hotmail account. Hopefully i won't have to see them any longer,

The reason for recent flow of mails might be exactly one you mentioned.
I followed your advice. But, recently I made it exclusive. No one outside
my address list is allowed to send emails to me. Kya anand bhako chha.
No more emails. for last two weeks, I got only one email, i.e. the one
from Ashu on Jun 6th. So, I suggest you to have two mail boxes, one
at Yahoo and one at Hotmail. Yahoo is comparatively safe and secured,
but, Hotmail is as you know a garbage collection center in cyberspace,
will be essential if you use its Messenger. So, its not bad to have
exclusive security check at hotmail w.r.t. junkmails. One more thing,
you have to do in hotmail is to ban your own email address, as you know
there are many mails that have "FROm: yourownaddress@hotmail.com".
So, you need to filter this one too.
