Just plugging a friend's photo exhibition in Boston.

Don was one of my trekking buddies on that great trek to Lo Manthang up in Mustang two years ago. Don's Mustang pictures are absolutely stunning and
his exibition is worth a visit for all homesick Nepalis in Boston.

Enjoy,

Friends,

I will have two photo exhibits up in the Boston area for the entire summer, and two more for part of the summer. If you are in town and have time, please stop by.

The first exhibit will be at the Trident Booksellers and Cafe, 338 Newbury Street (Massachusetts Ave. end of Newbury), Boston, from June 20-August 31.

This exhibit will feature large Iris prints on watercolor paper, a very special technique that lends the photos a particularly rich, textured, and painterly quality. The Trident's hours are 9:00am-midnight, 7 days a week. Their phone number is 617-267-8688. The cafe has great food and the bookstore is wonderful for browsing!

The second exhibit, which will also be up until the end of August, is at the Boston College Center for International Studies at Hovey House, 258 Hammond Street, Chestnut Hill, MA (a suburb of Boston), just across Beacon Street from the Student Center. This exhibit consists of 27 pieces. Normal hours are Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM. For extended hours, directions, or more information, call (617) 552-3827.

The third exhibit is also on Newbury Street in Boston, at Coco's Salon and Gallery (35 Newbury Street, at the Boston Common end of Newbury). This is a new exhibit of several dozen 11" x 17" prints. It will be up through the end of July. Coco's is open Tuesday-Saturday, day and evening. If you are in the area, feel free to stop by. Otherwise, please call to confirm hours. The phone number is (617) 536-0909.

The last exhibit is in Harvard Square in Cambridge through July 6. It is an exhibit of eleven images hanging in the outside windows of the Harvard Trust Company (outside of Holyoke Center in the middle of the Square, next to Au Bon Pain, and across from the subway entrance).

Hope this note finds you well and enjoying the beginning of summer.

All the best,
Don
