Very intelligent answers.
O_J Posted on 22-Jun-02 02:25 PM

This reply is great..has the essence of Nepali pride!

Nepal seeks, quite legitimately, to defend its sovereign space and indeed even to expand it. At the same time it appears to want India to deal with it on a special footing. How are these two imperatives to be reconciled?

You surprise me with this question. What makes you think that Nepal wants to 'expand' its 'sovereign space'? We have no such intention. The Nepalese people, like citizens of any country, are highly protective of their sovereignty and I see nothing wrong in that. This desire of the Nepalese people should not in any way be construed to be an impediment to the existing state of cordiality and friendship that Nepal and India have been maintaining with each other since time immemorial. Our relations remain special because they are practical, pragmatic and beneficial

Dear ??, O-J and Puspa Shrestha,

It seems that your brain is washed throughly by the king's reply.

Do you remember Nepal "Dui dhunga ko tarul" ho. But was it true when PN Shah was ruling the country? I am 100% sure propaganda machine created this mahan bani. Long live our present propandagand machine that is capable of washing even intecllligent brains like yours.

Dear All,

I believe Sajha is a place of intelligent discussion. It does bother me when someone directly or indirectly tries to cross the line of positive critics.

All of you guys chill out and every one is entitled for their own opinion but please let us have an adult discussion and do not call each other names or point fingers.

Let us get together have a beer and discuss politics, culture, maobadis and other most interesting topics. By the way do you guys live in East or West Coast?
MG Posted on 24-Jun-02 08:50 AM

Dear Nepali from Kathmandu,

It might be a shock for you to see people "crossing the line" but, believe me, you ain't seen nothing yet.

So, just igore the expletives and pea-brained visitors and post what you think is relevant. You have to sort of wade through the coal to find diamond here. You must be a new visitor of this site. I am kind of worried about you!
MG Posted on 24-Jun-02 08:50 AM

And I live in the East Coast, but of course!
!!! Posted on 24-Jun-02 12:30 PM

He is sharp and answers in a very deplomatic way.

I believe he will maintain good relations with all the country. He "the real king" of this father's blood.
Good Interview Posted on 24-Jun-02 02:29 PM

He is indeed a good king. By the quality of his speech, I am assured that Nepal has a king that has caliber, diplomacy, leadership and business ethics. I am proud of the king.
