Before we critise the maobahis of nepal , or anyone or anything , we have to find the roots of the problem and tackle the root so the branches and the leaves with come nicely and prosper.poverty, illetricy, economic condition of the people and the country, discrimination of higher class people to lower class people such as bahun-sarki etc, corruption in govt, and lots of others factors have led to the taking up weapons by maobadhis and if our govt had tackled he root of these problems such as povert , hunger, this wouldnt have had appened and nepalwould have been in better shape than it is now. nepal is going back in time when the world is moving forward.
some people in this forum seem not to realize the hardships the poor nepali people have to go through in the villages and the govt doesnt even have a development package for the villages. villagers face torture in the hands of plice officers but maobadhis were determined not to let this foolishness go on for long so they had to g with arm struggle. only the middle class nepalis in kathmandu have something to dream for but for the 90% of the poor neplis who live below the poverty line have nothing to dream about,they cant send their childrens to school which further slips our literacy rate down, dont have food to eat thats why lots of kids in nepal are malnourised, etc.
what do you guys think of our maobadhi brothers and sisters in nepal..are they good or bad?? i want ot hear from our nepali brothers and sisters abroad and back home in nepal..

The reasons...
You are a Maobadi because..
-You do not understand the culture or economics.
-You do not understand the importance of global trade.
-You have no respect for human life.
-You have no regard for other opinion or belief.
-You believe in killing those that question your political thinking.
-You believe in eradicating all intellectuals.
-You do not know how to think "outside the box".
Simply, you are a maobadi because you are an idiot.

I am saddened by what the maobadi's have done to our country. They say that they r the saviour of Nepal. Yet they kill other Nepalis who r themselves trying to make a meagre living.
At a time when Nepalis r being humiliated. When hundreds of thousands of Nepali-origin people r forced out of other countries. When other (neighb.)countries r depriving us of opportunities of development we r fighting among ourselves. Killing each other.
When Gorakh dakshin bahu says "the hardships the poor nepali people have to go through in the villages and the govt doesnt even have a development package for the villages.". He is forgetting that only hardwork is no solution for poverty.
One should work smart. In today's world creativity,intuitivity etc. r rewarded.
Just going to other countries to work as coolie,Bahadur and Bharia(non-skilled) work is not going to solve our problem. True governement is not doing its work properly. But a gov. is only as good as its people. Kane mukh lai junga le chekdaina. If you burn down whatever infrastructure there was then u r not going to make everybody's life better.

but our nepali people have suffered not for 1 year, not for 2 years but for centuries.
our govt is scared even to look at india face to face and speak of their unfair treatment. in ktm rich are getting richer everyday and poor nepali villagers are getting poorer everyday. how long will this shit go on for in our country
..arnt the villagers nepalis???wht has the nepali govt done for the villagers in the last 12 years of democracy.?
in m next posting i will post maobadhis 40 demands inorder for there to be peace and development in nepal .

Stop killing and terrorizing. Stop destroying the infrastructure. There is no point to bring the maobadi demands. These demands are secondary on what you are doing to Nepal and Nepali. Your demands does not hold any grounds. No one will listen to a bunch os ruthless scums who only know how to kill, maobadis are worst than psycopath killers. These scums can actually enjoy dinner after grusome killing.. Maobadi, your actions make me sick to my stomach.
The end of maobad is near. Only Indian support is enough to get rid of your leaders who are hiding in India.. The end to maobad is near, very near.

Everybody has their own opinion and their own belief. And what a democratic country allows is to speak their mind. I have nothing towards the so called "maobadis" and their supporters or to whom they have some sympathy. A person who can read and write in todays technology definetly is not an illeterate one and has some sense of humour. I'd like to say to those people to think twice about the demand and the activities of the maobadis. Dont act just think like regular citizen, like u and me, are the maobadis doin the right thing? Are they gonna lift our country from poverty and unequal distribution of power and property? Are they the true Nepali for the development of the country and the people? Are they the one that can bring better system in our country from the current democratic system? like these there are numerous question that need to be asked before anyone can even think about havin sympathy towards maos. And about the government one, i'll definetly agree that after the restoration of democracy in the country, they are mostly engaged in power struggling rather then development. For this I'd like to blame mostly on the Nepali Congress ( their internal fury for the power) and CPN-UML who does nothing but wait for the opportunity to grab the power. not to forget, their are development packages aimed at developing the vdc. but unfortunately due to lack of financial and man power and above all the maos, it has no effect. I'd like to wrap up by sayin that we cannot blame on the government for the rise of maos and please do think twice before you have any support for maos. prayin to pashupatinath for the kingdom of nepal and her people. jai nepal

You are not a Maobadi or unacceptable to become rebel because…….
(1) You have no quality education, or you do not act like this way. Honestly……
(2) You are a corrupted person or maybe you among them. That's for sure.
(3) You even do not know what is human Right, Justice, Freedom, Equality. Respect.
(4) You do not know about WTO and its hidden great danger. You raise your dumm thinking to tell that all Reporters, Political, Economic and Trade analysts are dumm.
(5) You believe that what you think and what you said only a right. Have you ever think twice. That is a main root cause problem with you that makes you fool and proved yourself fool.
(6) A Revolution is not a having party. This is a solution of deep problems.
(7) Give us a Big List of intellectuals people of current Nepalese politic or parties.
(8) You do not even know what do you mean "box" or what is look like. Honestly….
I don't mean to rude, but just for understand.

The Federation of Nepalese Journalists has called on the government to give details about the condition of a jailed newspaper editor.
The group's president Taranath Dahal made the demand after newspaper reports suggested that Krishna Sen, the editor of a pro-Maoist newspaper Janadisha, had died after being tortured.
The Nepalese authorities have yet to comment on the reports.
Nepalese journalists have accused the authorities of tightening restrictions on the press, and say journalists have been harassed -- and in some cases arrested or tortured -- since a state of emergency was declared last November.
